I am listening to this as I type I am aware of the Smashing Pumpkins but cannot say I am familiar at all with their music, as it kind of passed me by in the very late 80's and early 90's, and even these lyrics when I look at them (I could barely make them out in the singing) leave me indifferent to them. Please do not take this as a criticism of your musical tastes! I am just wondering if there is some other song of theirs that you could recommend to me that may be more accessible and demonstrative of their draw. When I look at a list of the top bands of the 90's I realize I am actually not familiar with a lot of them I will show you what I mean with this top 100 list, leaving in purple those I am largely unfamiliar with, marking in blue the bands I have heard some of but don't really know, and marking in bold magenta the bands/artists I know or at least I am much more familiar with and maybe even love

Magenta, I'm taking that as the most sincere criticism, feel so hurt now. So sad. Why would you do this to me? It's a Christian site. I need to be encouraged Magenta, hel-looooooow! (Joking)
"Magenta bands", I like the sound of that.
It is a Christian site, so it's really not the best place to post rock music. Rock music has it's roots in the devil's work shop, it's something I still listen to, but I pray God can over look our sins. Posted this song, because it's pretty harmless overall, but I think rock music has brought many to hell to be quite frank.
I will give you another song I really like though, if it's any consultation. One of my favorites for sure.

Consolation? Oh, another sad omission from the top 100 list I provided was The Eagles. Admittedly the vast majority of their stellar material predates that; still, they did officially releases material in the nineties, and this song, though from the late 80's, charted in/to the 90's and is also representative of a strong Christian theme, that being forgiveness. This is one of my all time favorite songs.

They were sadly missing from that top 100 90's list list also haha. Another person I saw in concert many times was Bruce Cockburn, who is also Canadian, and been very prolific. He used to play at the Canadian National Exposition in Toronto, so the admittance price was included in the fair gate (meaning, quite inexpensive as far as concerts go, and it was an outdoor venue also, quite lovely, really ) So, having mentioned him, the song that comes to mind is Rocket Launcher, but I would rather post a song by another French Canadian Band known as Cano, whom I also saw live, sitting in a cloud on a mountain top many years ago

Seems like you the outdoor music concerts, better than a stuffy concert hall.
