I agree.
One should have boundaries and i have seen cuddles be manipulated with and used in sneaky ways with "back thought" behind it.
I used to be to open with cuddles because i am such an affectionate person who loves intimacy but that does not mean i should be intimate with anyone nor cuddle with anyone.
Some cuddles do not feel good and hugs either, just does not feel right and how to tell the one to "back off" in a polite but firm manner.
Sometimes one hugs to be polite because its like a tradition like the "kiss on cheek greeting" .
sometimes the other party clings on to you.
I only recently learnt how important it is to set bounties and that all hugs are not good and that the "hugger" can be dangerous and manipulative and the list goes on.
Same if one has family who hugs you " in vain" and it just feels so wrong like story of a dieing rich bloke who's family hugs and hugs but its to be in his will and in vain somehow or the woman or man who wants to have sex or get power of someone and is clingy and not respect a no.
I never get touched and really really would love a touch but noticed just other day i felt uncomfterble a man was demonstrating a product on my wrist and rubbed my wrist for long time and that made me feel uncomfterble actually.
not aroused just uncomfterble.
Maybe should of said no to trying product.

no was nothing like that but if you think how rubbing a hand or fingers while holding hands can be more intense and intimate than a sex act.
It can be a bit pretencious the hug thing sometimes and over worked and done in vain or for wrong reasons and or not respecting intergrity and boundaries and sacred space.
Intimate relationship with cuddles and affection would be wonderful.

Well...until I'm in a relationship with a guy I suppose I'll just cuddle with....my pillow. A pillow can never resist cuddling. Haha. 
pillows are good .I used to cuddle my dog but she is not living with me at moment (miss her )
But same there i must respect her space and when she walks away i should not forse cuddle her because i want to cuddle.I would lay with her in my arms in bed in mornings.
I live alone with fish now and she is not so affectionate and a touch scary even as she jumps at me (reminds me of minature jaws)
But she is affectionate in a different way perhaps as she swims to my finger and chases it.
I could jump in aquarium with her, water feels so warm and delightful.
It just feels so comfterble, enjoyable temperature but prefer the seas swim round in.
Had a massage once where he started rubbing between my legs.
(that was really uncomfterble)
Most massages had they keep a distance but do the massage goodness in a respectable way respecting the space and sex (unless one goes to erotic massage parlour)
