For me I avoid threads that have been done into the ground over and over again. I know that sometimes being newer you may not really know what posts have or have not been done like 3 or 4 months ago. I feel bad about it sometimes because I can remember when I wanted to talk about the same subject but I just can't anymore.

I also wanted to say something and it will make me look bad, but it is just the truth.

I work from home and have double monitors plus a lap top. Meaning, I might open CC up, see an interesting thread and then get distracted and come back 2, 3 or 4 hours later and forgot what I wanted to say. ADD, it is fun.

That is just the plain truth and it has nothing to do with if it was a good thread or not and everything to do with the fact that I'm an idiot.

All for fun...You are not an idiot...unless I am one too! I read the thread, mull it over, come back to post, and either forget what I wanted to say, or decide others already have!!! (many times, better than I could have!)

Thanks for all the replies and feedback. The problem is partially self esteem on my part. I probably shouldn't have said anything. I am sorry and I ask your forgiveness if I was in any way rude or inconsiderate. I certainly never meant to "obligate" anyone to reply. Maybe I should just leave CC. Even negative feedback can be helpful if spoken in love. It hurts being the last one picked for teams and it hurts when it seems every other thread has at least one reply and mine has none. Those that have replied I really appreciated. I just figured the problem was me esp being new and all. Then I got to feeling that maybe others felt the same way. Apparently I was wrong, thats right ladies mark it in your calendars a man admitted he was wrong. ;) Anyway I am sorry that I spoke such harsh words in this post. I realize this does not make it right, nor is it an excuse, however I truly did not mean any offense and I thank you for your replies and the insights. -Bob

GentlemanBobIII....Been there, done that!! I used to get disappointed too when my posts and threads went un-noticed, (or seemed to??) but I have come to realize I do the same thing if I just don't know what to say to a thread.......so...yeah. I think this may be the first post I have ever read of yours.....I do hope you stay so I get to read more!! (But.....please forgive me if I am again at a loss for words?? or....get sidetracked to the point of forgetting......??
