Mr SeatBelt is talking about God leading us where/when/how we don't want to go. Picture a child having a fit. We fight, struggle, pull away....and end up with drag marks in the sand.
We have to go where God leads us so why is it that we don't just submit to Him and go?

Until I read NukePooch's "kind and generous" explanation -- it never occurred to me that this is what you meant. I was looking at it from another perspective. (coming from the central idea presented by the poem)

Hopefully, you will now understand the innocence of my post - as putting forth a thought that is "praise-worthy to the Lord" - instead of an attempt to be "ugly" to someone / anyone...
NOTHING in my post was intended to be "harsh"...
This was intended in a "light-hearted" way - and was based on what NukePooch said - not what you said...
The proper understanding of it comes from the "thought" that followed it.
I think both perspectives are certainly thought-worthy. However, I did not mean to "trample" yours... I truly missed it altogether.

Why is it that every time my mother-in-law comes up for a visit, I wait until the last 2 or 3 hours before she arrives before I start cleaning the house?
