This may be just a little "over the top" for "CC", but I'm willing to risk it lol. So, I apologize in advance to the MODs if you must edit this... but, please consider the complete context :)

What's in my mind driving me crazy
When time stands still and everything's hazy
The thought of your body holding me tight
A hot wet sin that feels so right

I must posses you and make you my own
Only to please you and gladly succumb
To your seduction luring me near
And the breath of your silky voice in my ear

Tell me I'm the reason your body exists
Fill my eyes and leave me no time to rest
Unzip your leather, shed your lace
Reveal my prize with your carnal embrace

Your every curve is a measure of ecstasy
Rewarding every naughty inch of me
But you cripple my ability to rationalize
Leaving me to wonder 'bout that look in your eyes

So what's in my mind that stirs when your near
What kind of question should an answer fear
Are you a gift that no man should dread
Or am I slave to your passion, bound to the warmth of your bed

Slave charmer...

Bathsheba, Jezebel, The w** of Babylon, Drusilla, Potiphar's Wife, Whoever Solomon wrote about, Possibly Eve, and lastly... Delilah, the inspiration for this lyric. Most people read the story of Sampson and Delilah and scratch their heads thinking, "Wow, dude was a complete moron!"

Was he really?

Is it possible that Delilah was just "That Good!?"

Hey Japov

It’s possible Samson had a lust problem which ultimately led to him having his eyes gouged out... the words of Jesus come to mind, “If your eye cause you to sin gouge it out; better to enter Heaven maimed than Hell.”
The Word tells us to take every thought captive unto obedience to Christ.
What you write, reminded me of the warning in Proverbs about the type of women to keep away from and I definitely don’t think the woman Solomon wrote about, or Eve should be in your list, because the wonderful account of Joseph with Potiphar’s wife revealed more about Joseph’s character of integrity and faithfulness to God, than it did about her.
One thing I know, after 11 difficult years of being single, after 15 years of marriage, is that our focus needs to be on our Beloved Jesus, He ought to take the pre-eminence in our hearts and minds rather than another human being; we can leave that desire with God; because the Word says if we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts. It also says this:
Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul and mind.

Maybe Delilah was just a test Samson failed.

Through Him all things are possible.

The lust of the flesh is not from God, the Bible tells us; so when God made the beautiful, holy relationship of Adam and Eve... it was of course corrupted initially by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life...when Eve saw the fruit and desired it to make herself wise, and as we know. Adam blatantly disobeyed God... we can learn from this... the Word is our powerful weapon and we are not to be ignorant of our Enemy’s devices which often seem to operate through temptation to lust. This snare brings us down, weakens is like Samson was weakened... Satan is subtle and spiritual with fate against us comes in many guises to steal, kill and destroy... God has plans for us, important works ordained that we should walk in them and we don’t want to be robbed of this, as it has a sure and eternal reward. When our Beloved Bridegroom returns for His Church who has made herself ready in the beauty of holiness, we want to hear those words, “ Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Never once have I thought if Samson as a moron lol, rather I have pitied him and thought it sad there wasn’t a good woman around for him; maybe he hindered himself from having such a woman... but he serves a great example to us through the things he suffered and ultimately he never gave up, and gained a great victory for God because of this.

Thank you for the honesty in your post.
From a woman’s perspective, my heart hopes and prays for God to give me to a man like Joseph, who fled immorality and feared the Lord.

May God bless you brother 🙂🦋... and talented poetry writing I have to say...I especially like the line, ‘ you cripple my ability to rationalise’... that’s what sin does to us doesn’t it... but we are no longer slaves to sin...😊

There's a blend of issues detailed in scripture.

We can obsess over people and things and tasks because of our imagination.

And it can become unhealthy to the point of our destruction. It depends on what and how we are being obsessive about.

Because we are supposed to be capable of passion and being passionate. Jesus was passionate about saving mankind. He is still passionate about his Bride.

When a person is passionate about something they become single minded...it controls their actions, emotions, and thoughts.
It's called "pure of heart".
Which is a double entendre with "holy of heart".
As in "Blessed are the holy of heart for they shall see God".

People fail.
They have warped and twisted ideals. They form twisted goals. Self delusion and cognitive dissonance are more common than logic and reason.
BUT
A very small number of people can actually make use of the above blessing Jesus proclaimed. And even then not all the time or on command. Holy of heart is not possible for the vast majority of Christians. But it is powerful.

WOW!

Question: Which is sin, sex... or sexual irresponsibility? Natural desire, or sinful satiation?

The truth of God's creation is what it is Lol. It can't be denied, so get comfortable with it!

Even the angels were seduced by the beauty of the daughters of men...

Japov I in no way meant to offend you and I hope I haven’t.
I think the answer to your question is that, outside of marriage this kind of desire has no place in a Believer’s life.

I can assure you, I am more than comfortable with God’s creation being what it is; I have 5 kids lol.

When those angels you mentioned had relationships with human women it wasn’t a good thing as far as I recall and I don’t think God was pleased. I think the off-spring were the demonic Nephilim if I’m not mistaken. Don’t forget, angels aren’t always good, far from it, some were cast out of Heaven with Satan and the Lake of Fire is prepared for those Angels so their behaviour is not an example for us just because they were angels.
I would say it is vital for a Christian to differentiate between what is holy and unholy regarding lust. I’m not suggesting any Christian is perfect; we are in a spiritual battle, and through Him we can overcome. The Truth sets us free and the truth is that lust is not love. An undefined marriage bed is pure. Jesus even said that if a man looks at a woman lustfully he has committed adultery in his heart. I’m assuming you desire a Christian wife and speaking from a Christian woman’s point of view, that is not the kind of guy I want to be with. I have friends who think the same and we are waiting on God for a man whose eyes and heart are pure, even though it is rare. As I said, Joseph was an example of this.
I used to check fit guys out and realised I was cultivating a habit which was unhelpful and pointless because I only want one guy- the guy God chooses for me, in His time if it’s His will for me. I would hate to think that if there is such a guy, he is checking out every attractive woman he sees until he meets me.

I'm not offended, just surprised...

Yea' see, God made me male... I like females... I'm not ashamed... You really should consider the alternatives....

When those angels you mentioned had relationships with human women.........
Quit confusing the issue. What did those angels acknowledge about the daughters of men?

I would say it is vital for a Christian to differentiate between what is holy and unholy regarding lust.
Absolutely agree.

Yep!

I believe you meant "undefiled", and it's marriage that makes the bed undefiled.

I’m assuming you desire a Christian wife and speaking from a Christian woman’s point of view, that is not the kind of guy I want to be with.
Hmmmmm... So, you want a Christian man, just not a man's desire? Good luck!

I have friends who think the same and we are waiting on God for a man whose eyes and heart are pure, even though it is rare. As I said, Joseph was an example of this.
I believe Joseph was more concerned about committing adultery with a married woman...

I would hate to think that if there is such a guy, he is checking out every attractive woman he sees until he meets me.
Well, God made all women attractive lol, but I'm not gouging my eyes out!

Jesus even said that if a man looks at a woman lustfully he has committed adultery in his heart
"LUSTFULLY" is the key word here. It indicates "INTENT"! Yes, there are some men who will lay with any woman who breathes, and they are generally very easily recognizable.

Again, I'm not insulted... However, you are being far too critical of me. In fact, I believe perhaps you're far too critical of men in general. I am what God made me and I don't delude myself by trying to deny it. Purity of Spirit has nothing to do with my gender, or my natural desire. The marriage bed is also "unashamed".

My lyric poses a very valid question from a Christian perspective... Consider it a cautionary tale lol.

Learning another's, a woman's, love language...putting another first...two different halves, learning to live in harmony. Cool.
I finally understand it. I think it's too late for me...oh well. We're just passing through this life anyway.
That's what I always say - I'm just passing through.

not sure what to say
but...its seems to be a fallacy that a man will only like just ONE woman even if hes married to her when theres many attractive women --- didnt Solomon have something like 900 wives, I lost count. Maybe he went with them one at at time, (and not married 900 all on the same day) but still he DID go from one to the other didnt he?

And conversely, Jesus met the woman at the well and she'd had 5 husbands...

In the NT the church even had to make a rule for bishops/pastors that they be the husband of just ONE (count em! ) wife.
They also had to make a rule for new believers that they refrain from fornication. Now why would they have to make that a rule? Cos everyone was doing it maybe???

Ladies, we cant help being attractive to men even when we think we look ugly and just woke up and havent even dressed...a man unless he is blind he is going to look at us. Difference is if hes looking at is with love or lust. Learn to tell the difference.

oh btw best to keep your clothes on anyway

Why do women always assume the worst? Lol, just because a man finds women attractive doesn't mean he's lustfull... ;)

700 wives and 300 concubines, though maybe someone lost count along the way ;):giggle:

It is possible some of those marriages were for political reasons. He was a king, after all...

If one of those "insatiable beasts" tries to talk to a sugar, spice, and everything nice princess, it's just bad form I suppose?!?! lol

I prefer the term caveman over insatiable beast, most of us are domesticated now. Some even think we landed on the moon, we have a gone a long way......lol
