@Gojira : Yes, point taken, Bro. But what I mean, is that, should we, as Christians, be discussing topics such as sex?
What? You want we should only talk about church bake sales and the price of eggs?

Sex is a fact of life. Of course we shouldn't talk about our personal sex lives (although some of the girls at work do.) But leaving the topic in general undiscussed does more harm than good.

YES! There will be plenty of sex in Heaven, BUT it will all depends on what TIER you’ll be.
If you’re on tier 3, no sex for you.
But on tier 1 you’ll have sex all day long.
As a VIP Tier-1 member, I know that I will have a busy schedule on my marble mansion, playing golf, eating food and having sex all day while Tier 3 Heaven members will clean my house.

Golf? You really think there willl be golf in heaven?

You got that mixed up with the "other place." That's where they will be forced to play golf. :p

Yes of course there will be golf in Tier 1 Heaven because golf is a very elitist, Tier-1 sport.
Lower levels will have lower level sports for the masses where the tickets are cheap.

W... wow... Bro, Ma'am, whichever you are, read more scripture :)
I have read and the Book of Revelation is describing events which occurred here on earth using symbolic language, meaning reality is being expressed in language that the churches at the time would have understood.

We however listen to John Hagee, Tim LeHay et. al. and think the book is written to us.

I don't know about that, but I do hope there is midget wrestling.
You just had to go there, didn't you???! Lol.

Just for reference... 6 of us from CC had a Meet-Up last year in which we went to an Escape Room... that was conveniently located right across from a Midget Wrestling Arena.

No. We didn't attend.

But, it's been a continuing theme of many, MANY a joke since.

Most especially since I'm probably short enough to be considered one of the midgets.

So is the new Jerusalem symbolic as well? Is Christ's return and new kingdom symbolic? What things are symbolic in Revelation and what things are literal, and what is your criteria for judging them so?

Your example of the vultures was absurd and did not help you. There are plenty of references to fruit trees, a marriage feast, not to mention that Jesus ate AFTER He resurrected, AND God said that He will RESTORE all things. Or... was all that symbolic too?

For some reason every time I see this thread I think of an old song...

Everybody
In the world
Has more sex than me
Did you get that feeling?

On CC singles, the christians love talking about sex, its the number one topic. Its like being with a bunch of tweens who dont know the facts of life and only know about it via internet porn that their older brothers showed them.

I dunno. Theres already too much sex and sleaze in the world, and its never as great as its made out to be so why would there be that in heaven.

Love on the other hand, will always be in heaven cos God is love.

I cant imagine Saint Peter at the pearly gates saying congrats on entering heaven, you may now have sex. He might say sorry this is christian heaven, the muslim heaven is down below. You can have as many wives as you please down there.

Is this topic really necessary for Christians?
Exactly! This thread is so inappropriate. I feel like we're disrespecting God by even thinking about the possibility of sex in heaven. Feels blasphemous to me.

Howdy Noel and welcome to the forum.

New threads are approved by a moderator before being posted where everyone can see them. They aren't just thrown out there. So we can be sure that a moderator saw this thread and approved it.

Now whether it is a good use of time to sit around speculating whether there will be sex in heaven, that's a different story. (I vote no.) But aside from the wasting time thing, whatevah. *shrug

I thoroughly disagree. Sex isn't evil. Neither is anything else physical that takes place when God restores all things.
