Unfortunately, that can be misinterpreted... they may be screaming and running away for a myriad of reasons: for instance, your hair might be on fire. Or perhaps you have a huge green booger on the side of your face. BUT, that doesn't necessarily mean they don't want to date you...

I don't know about you, Kim, but I probably wouldn't date someone who's on fire or routinely has a booger face... I think it still translates. ;-)

I'm trying to be open-minded here, Anne!!! ;) But, if you insist... the next time a guy runs away from me screaming... I'll give in and take it as him not being interested. *sighs* There went my date for tomorrow night. And I was so hoping he'd come back and ask me out.

Although I guess in some cases "You're on fire!!" is a compliment... so maybe that won't work either...
