The factory set or screwdriver adjustment comment was about the case that holds the lower thread spool. I missed that point, but you probably understand what I meant. YouTube has some easy videos on the amount of tension if you need it .
Last week I was going from a light fabric to multiple layers of webbing for a backpack accessory. Bent a needle and bird nests. Tough job and I bent a new heavy duty needle, birds nests too. I came back to it when I wasn't t tired and followed the rules above. It all came out good.

Love em?
Hate em?
Don't care?

Please I want to know.

I'm guess Im in the don't care category. I dont care for jeans. I dont know why they are so popular. I dont know why everyone wears them, for me they are just so uncomfortable and expensive. There are much more comfortable and stylish clothes you could wear, in other colours.

When I was younger I was pressured into wearing them cos they were the 'cool' and trendy item to wear, but I never liked them.

My reasons...well I will expand on them further, but just want to bullet point why they are not in my wardrobe anymore

-pockets? too many, and on your butt, but you cant fit anything in them and its like you are feeling your butt when you slip your hand in there...or someone elses hands?!
-waistband...either too tight or need a belt to hold them up, and EXTRA item to buy
- creates muffin top when low waisted
-when high waisted is hard on your stomach
-cuts off circulation when too tight
-fades
-gets torn and holey so look like you wearing rags
- take ages to dry
-heavy when wet
-dont keep legs warm when its winter
-held on with rivets?!
-everyone wears them, boring
- mostly come in blue or black, black for gang members, blue for everyone else who cant be bothered
- then have to find matching top
-skinny ones nightmare to put on and pull off
-baggy ones fall down, your knickers exposed or worse, g-string

just bad bad bad fashion...
sorry...if you love jeans! you can state your case for them I dont mind, want to hear all points of view
I like jeans if they fit nice.

Jeans are almost all I wear. They are not expensive, durable and reliable and that’s what I want from all my clothes. Jeans are also stylish, and you can wear them for decades. I still wear some of my mom’s jeans because they fit me better than her now.
They are also easy to match with almost any clothing – winter or summer, and it’s easy to find tops to wear with mom jeans. In other words, jeans are a kind of clothing that makes your life easier. Another kind of pants that I like just as much as jeans are hiking pants, but that’s another story to tell.
You are a guy wearing your mother's clothing? That's really odd dude. (Your profile says "male"

Jeans are wonderful, and other than skirts or dresses, they’re all the pants I wear. They’re versatile and many of them are extra cute when embroidery or something is added.

The ouafaex account does not correspond to a real person, at least not the way "Lynx" corresponds to me.

The primary objective of that post was to smuggle in a hotlink buried in the text, so hopefully more people would go to a comercial site and buy stuff.

Ok..can someone steal ryansundstrom's jeans. Or hide them away so he can't find them...

Alternatives to jeans - chinos, cargos, slacks, corduroys, mc hammer pants....

but mc hammer pants are cool! Plus you can stick bling on them too.
Ugh. My mother got me a pair of those parachute pants back in the mid '80s because my sister said they were cool. They swished whenever I walked. I hated them.

this was a way back, but I don't have time to go through all the posts..... maybe someone answered this before now, but for this question... "what is with. the extra tiny pocket that nothing can fit into? mystery"

It is called a watch pocket.... from back when most men still carried a pocket watch. Nowdays it's for whatever you want to tuck into it. There's a class of traditional pocket knives that are referred to as "watch pocket knives"..... I carry one there all the time.

I have a Unihertz Jelly, the world's smallest android phone, that can fit in that pocket.

Alas, it only runs Android 7. Can't have everything. Also the battery power was... Limited.

I thought it was for keys, but keys usually hook on to a belt loop, with a chain.
