this is the start of chapter 2. im probably only gonna share this bit and maybe a bit from chapter 3 when i get up to typing that up and anything else that seems most important to me.
“Good morning Mister Sochacki, and how are we today?”
No response.
I hear a muttered sigh and the loud clang of a tray being placed on a metallic table.
“Is there anything you would like?”
Some more shuffling around.
Eventually, a short but effective stinging fills my arm. The light above my head on the ceiling blurs into indistinguishable shapes of unknown entities. My eyes become unfocused and heavy, so I let them close. Again,I welcome the returning darkness.
My eyes remain closed. No matter how many times he calls my name I shall not satisfy this bothersome creature with any response from me.
Silence is the only force worth using. The only power that can throw the soul into the deepest depths of depression – a place surrounded by fire and fury, a place where I can watch myself run away and cower at the monster I have become. A place where I can truly find myself, yet I choose not to look, so I crawl instead, into the empty, shadowed corner to weep for my lost prayers.
So I will not be sharing my story with them. I have learned that knowledge is the key to evil.
I keep my eyes closed,as if that is the way to escape this torment that they have brought me into.
