They could include....I'm not valuable, lovable, respectable etc. The mind is a garden and your thoughts are its seeds. Plant bad seeds and they grow bad fruit. Plant good seeds and they grow good fruit.

No...this is not a test of GOD. GOD does not take His children under His wing and force them to deal with depression. JESUS came to give us life and more abundantly. How can we have an abundant life with depression hanging on to us? It's totally a choice...making sure the Holy Spirit within us is activated. We live in a fallen world..complete with all sorts of satanic influences and blunders. What we think about ourselves and our personal issues are what satan plays upon. What GOD does is to take us as we are, incomplete and full of sin, strife and boo-boos...washes us clean when we accept what JESUS CHRIST, His Son, has done for us, and fills us with His Holy Spirit..."Old things have passed away...behold all things have become NEW". It is hard for me to understand why anyone would want to hang on to the old...and not embrace the NEW..IMMEDIATELY!!!! It's for our benefit. Nobody asks GOD to be tested for strength. You will never hear "GOD, please give me more Depression in my life so that I can become stronger". Kick the devil to the curb, in the name of JESUS..and walk out of this deep rut you have put yourself into!!!!!
