What is an "unholy movie"? Can't think of a single one right now. Movies are art, and art is devine. =)

no I am not joking at all
Do you think the God who says to be holy as he is holy who demands perfection and commands us to be pure and not to swear would approve of movies like that?

I can think of about 10 off the top of my head. Art can be Godly or it can be profane. Wicked movies are profane ''art''.

I'll have a go.

The Departed. Moulin Rouge. Scarface. Cruel Intentions. Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Borat. The Godfather 1, 2 and 3. Pretty Woman.

It doesn't take much for a movie to contain unChristian concepts.

Those movies don't even touch the topic of religion. Is every movie that doesn't feature God or Jesus unholy? I mean I could understand when you call movies like "Dogma" unholy. But those? I've seen every single one of them (oh, except Moulin Rouge) and I can't remember anything anti-religious about them.

I would either guess then you 1. have no discernment or 2. no Holy Spirit. Those movies are filled with profanity, sensuality, and violence.

I've seen them all too.

They feature murder, profanity, drug use, prostitution, sexual immorality, etc.

Why should a Christian watch these movies?

If you can't watch those movies without the basement of your faith trembling, I am really sorry.
