God destroyed the world with a flood because He was so disgusted at how unrelentingly evil the human race was. That was in the time of Noah. The time in which we live could be compared to the time of Noah. You have to admit, the human race is by and large pretty disgusting.
Put that way, man surely can follow evil. I just would like us all to not only understand that side, but allow our thinking to also know of what God tells us about being able to follow good. God destroyed people with the flood, they had destroyed themselves first by following evil not good. But each of us can follow good and make that a part of us.

I love being weird. God told me He set me apart. There are lots of parties I wasn't invited to. But when I lived among the "hippies" when I commerical fished, I could lead many toward the real spiriualism that is Christ. When I worked in the payroll department with 10 others, I was the one they went to if they had questions about God. I hadn't told them about the bible or church, but they knew I knew. I was proud. People come to me to pray with them when they have trouble. I LIKE being weird.

I wouldn't like dressing in weird styles, or being unfriendly, or not listening to other people, or set apart those ways. But being set apart as part of God's family is wonderful.
It was a birthday for you, just noticed the year different. Happy days ahead for you. MOst definitely I am a different kind of human being, along with the other ones. It did say, we are a peculiar people" a class in it's own. Better than first class. We ride under the wings of the MOST HIGH GOD, now that is FIRST AS it says " you will be the head and not the tail". what a ride...... more than a minute thrill....no ill effects from our GOD.

There are many whose instinct is to walk in the light, even if they need help do to it. To live in the light of God, one must be sensitive to it. To be blind and deaf to the things of God is to be cut off from God, and those who are cut off from Him will never hear His voice. It's like someone deliberately gouging his own eyes out to escape the light of day forever.

Well how do you define evil? Because of vast cultural differences, religious and politcal beliefes, theres no total concensus on what is good or bad.
There are 176 reported casualties from the recent bombing in Boston, Massachusetts; 3 people were killed, and 17 are in critical condition. Limbs were lost. If the perpetrator asked whether you thought what he/she did was good or evil, how would you answer?

If there's evil, there is good. If there's good, there must be a moral framework. If there is a moral framework, where does it come from?

What if the perpetrator was mentally disturbed? Does that make one evil? And you're using a blunt example, one that pretty much everyone can agree with. Something that people might not agree with here and in other cultures is how women may be allowed to dress etc.

You're using an "if" to sidestep the question. A lot of people could - and probably would; especially in our culture - slap a mental disorder on it to elude the question of morality.

So tell me: what is it "everyone can agree with"? Can it be assumed you include yourself in that unanimity?

Something that people might not agree with here and in other cultures is how women may be allowed to dress etc.
Perfectly reasonable assessment. :) After we address the aforementioned, what is your take on [inter]cultural influence on female attire? Or provocative and non-provocative attire in general?

Because I am .... Most Christians seem to take offense to the terms "Jesus Freak" or "Christian weirdo" ect. When people throw these "insults" at me I just smile because then I know that I am walking in the light, and that people can see that I am different from those who live for the world, and for themselves. So I pose the question... Do you or have you been offended by such terms as previously mentioned?

18“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.20Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[SUP]b[/SUP] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me.22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.23Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.

People can wear what they want as long as they aren't nude in public, yet I have nothing against a woman wearing a bathing suit in her backyard or just wearing a bikini and shorts on a hot day, yet if you did that in Saudi Arabia it would certainly be viewed as evil and that person could be facing punishment up to flogging or death.

Well, I was not offended but quite surprised when a fellow Christian called me " crazy " because I told him I believe from the Scriptures the ancient serpent who deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden is still alive and living in the Bottom of the Ocean and it's the great dragon called Leviathan and described in many parts of Scriptures. I believe Jesus will come back with His Father at the end of time to crush the seven heads of Leviathan to accomplish what He prophesied in Genesis about the seed of Eve who will crush the head of the ancient serpent !

By the way, I have a high functioning autism, I just discovered it recently. I understand more now why it's not a big deal to me to take literally the Lord's Word in any circumstances ! Even if it sounds absolutely crazy to the majority !

But what is written is written and the Lord does not lie ! The real liars are mundane and superficial men !

I'm a fan of apologetics and defending Christianity in a rational manner. If someone calls you weird for believing in Jesus, there are many arguments you can make to show them that their beliefs whatever they may be, can also be considered weird. We are all weird. The universe is weird and strange and hard to explain.

I am not offended when people think I'm weird for believing in Jesus, I am however offended if people think I am stupid for believing, especially when I have rational reasons for my faith, and people are often too afraid to ask what those reasons are, and would rather just insult someone to feel better about themselves.

Have you listened to John Lennox and Ravi Zacharias? They're great apologists
