Artsie, my uncle died over a year ago and when he did the newly-widowed said there needs to be more care for care providers. I'm thinking, since you have so many gifts in art, writing, and connecting others to your works-- and since you are a care provider to your dad-- it would be a great market to pitch to care providers.

Get well cards are often to the sick, but what about those taking care of the sick?
A smaller potential buyer base, yes, but the care provider is numerous in number.
And they tend to get forgotten more than the one's who battle long-term illnesses.
One slogan I have for you is: "We're better than a band-aide"
And then you can add your various characters and stories to customized items (bracelets, cards, smartphone stickers, etc.).

Just a thought.

Your blog could be a landing page for providers to share good news and even offer email (private messaging to micro-vent-- 'cause it can get tiring, frustrating, or just lonely to care for someone long-term.)

The elements you mentioned could easily be tied into the above concept.
