The problem is most people do not understand anything about being bored.
Its NOT about being busy!
Most people are bored because the USA is very unfriendly with people. People need the daily contact of people. This is missing in the USA. This is why people get bored because nobody wants to pay attention to them. Nobody wants to spend time with them.
The USA kicks people to the side of the street all the time. Nobody wants to be bothered with those who have no family or friends who by no fault of theirs cannot go out to meet new people.
Usually when a person is bored it is because they have nobody.
We Christians need to include these people in our lives. Many Christians do not want to be bothered with these people.
I'm weird but I would honestly suggest maybe watch some documentaries about things you're interested in. That way you learn and get entertained at the same time
Being a young christian, I often find myself bored. Back before I gave my life to Christ, it was easy to find something to get into (which was usually sinful) when I became bored. Now all I really do is work and go to church as I wait for the new semester to start.
Does anyone have any suggestions of positive activities I could take part in that would help eliminate boredom?
I read anything form articles online, to books, to textbooks, to the Bible. Reading is so much fun! And the beauty of it all is that there's always another book waiting to be read. My favorite store is Barnes and Noble...it's the happiest place on earth...for me.
