I will take my contention for the Faith elsewhere if there is not one man in here that wants to hear. I do not believe in casting my pearls before swine so they might be trampled on and I believe that because the Bible says so. I only came on here to attempt to persuade these men to turn to Christ. As a Bible Believing Christian I am for
Truth and against error and I did not consider what I have posted on here as arguments and I have not taken offense to any arguments presented by catholics. I am rooted and grounded in the Faith and I am a member of the body of Christ. I am a lively stone connected to the living stone Jesus Christ. When someone takes offense to others disputing what they say they believe I would think that the reason for that is because they do not 100percent truly believe what they are saying and so they naturally get defensive.
You have no need to try to persuade anyone here to turn to Christ, we have already turned. Don't worry about us ;) You would get defensive if we attacked what you believed, I'm sure. Anyway, like I said, this isn't the place for arguing, if you want to do that start another thread. God bless. :)

Round and round the rabbit hole we go. How deep does that rabbit hole go? Becareful for Alice had a very hard time getting out of that hole. Amen!

Just incase anyone thinks the rabbit-hole was singling out any one form of christianity or believe system. That was not my intention. To me the rabbit hole signalfies the fall of the world into the abyss. Alice is us humans.
Romans 8:28 Scofield bible "We know all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose."

The more we grow in the Lord, the more we'll have grown in LOVE... guys, this argument will never end -- there will be digging up of history, telling of facts, etc., etc., etc., and neither side will ever rest... but, the more we grow in the LORD (Truth), the more we'll grow in LOVE... in the Day, we'll be judged by the JUDGE; let's stop judging each other... and prepare one another for that Day...

Indeed. St Paul talks about heresy, and says that we should warn a divisive person once or twice ,but if he won't repent then reject him because he is self-conceited and condemned of himself.
10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,
11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

(Tit*3:10-11*NKJ)

I don't know about any of you but I am Church conceited :D... I believe not in myself but in the Church of ancient tradition.

Let's ponder on these verse shall we.

3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,
4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,
5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.
(1Ti*6:3-5*NKJ)

There's lots of doctrine which accords with Godliness in my Church. Not that which I have written, but others wiser than myself.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

(Jam*3:13-18*NKJ)

I noticed some comments about how there are so few catholics on this website and how grateful that other catholics were to find each other on here. I would assume the reason would be that this website is Christianchat.com and since catholics are not Christian that would be the logical reason there are so few on here. I am grateful for people of all beliefs participating in these discussions and hopeful that this website will bring some clarity to people that are searching for Truth and have been decieved by men that have taken the Truth of God and changed it into a lie. If there was a website called catholicchat.com there would probly be very few Christians on there and the ones that were there quite possibly could be gathered in a discussion such as this one.
Well you must be very clever when you said that.... i heard much of lies and bad things that people said about christians, but nothing wasnt more (sorry for that word)- stupid that this...

Heyyyy :).. you´ve been in Madrid on JMJ..thats great!.. i was wondering if there is anyone on cc who was there... how was it?.. well i was looking on mess on sunday and adoration day before on tv. that was realy amazing and beautiful.. you must have really nice memories.. i wished so much to be there... :)... and what was the most bautiful expirience for you there? :)
Hey I forgot to reply to that sorry :p I think my favourite experiences were firstly the sheer amount of young Catholics who were so joyful in their faith! Singing everywhere - in the streets, on the metro, and everyone was so friendly! Ive never seen that much happiness in such a mass of people before. My second favourite thing was this: on the night before the mass with the Pope I was in the adoration tent, and it started to thunder and lightning and rain heavily outside, and the lights went out, and there was just one candle beside the tabernacle, and it was just such a beautiful moment!

"Holier than thou" thats a wonderful attitude to have...if you want to be judged by God.

For your information, catholics read and study and acknowledge the same bible that protestants do. Seminary priests are required to study the bible a MINIMUM of three hours a day. You are displaying the same ignorance of the facts that every anti-catholic loves to chant as if you are some sort of champion of christians. Guess what? You are just another uninformed catholic-basher!

2 Timothy 3:1-7 (KJV)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Yes many catholics, even many of the youths have the peace in them that Jesus promised. It is not a peace that the world gives but the peace that only Jesus can give.

we are in peril ... peril of ourselves... the road is narrow, and even the thing that brings life (Truth) could become a source of death, on our road...

Yeah I know what you mean, none of my friends have any faith and I know veryyy few people from where I live that do, so the experience of all those young Catholics really gave me encouragement. :) Thats also one of the reasons why I joined Christian Chat. It definitely wasnt for all the bickering about Catholicism though :p I'm from Ireland! :)

I was in section E8! Not sure where that was in relation to you. There was quite a few chapels around the place too. Yeah it was amazing, but then the police came and started telling us all to leave, I think it was maybe too dangerous inside the chapel with the lightning and all :p And then I went back later when the rain had stopped and it was full of people trying to sleep! A priest woke them all up though and told them it was a place for prayer not for sleep :p

Woah thats so cool. So i think you section was close to mine. Just one row closer i believe. do you remember a group from the US wearing glow sticks? That was us. Also yeah i heard the roof blew off one of them and a girl broke her leg and a few were injured so they took the roofs off all of them. And i think they had to relocate the Eucharist after that so they wouldnt be exposed to the rain and wind. And thats the reason we all couldnt receive Communion the next morning. Thats the story i heard. I could be wrong though.

We do not believe in the Pope....
Oh, I believe in the Pope. I know he exists. I just don't blindly obey him, or attribute honor to him above what is his due as a child of God.

:)

But AMEN to the rest of your post.

John 1:1 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Great. You have mastered the cut-and-paste feature.

Did you have anything to say, or were you just going to spout Scripture without, obviously, understanding its meaning.
