:/ I see, sorry 'bout that.
It isn't smart at all for someone who has the knowledge of healing to go and try to clean out a hospital.
With the knowledge I have of the subject, I could minister and see some results, yes, but there are people in the world who believe that it's God's will for them to be sick, that He's working something in them, and that if I say it's God's will for them to be 100% healthy, or even healthy at all, I'm of the devil. The unbelief of the people in the hospital could have an effect on the results that could be seen, and nothing would get done.
On the other hand, if the majority of the people wouldn't reject it, I would see good results, but whether a person gets healed or not doesn't depend on me, so there's no guarantee they would receive at the moment, or at all. I would like to thank God for doctors, though. Without them, a lot of people would be dead D:
And Paul's thorn in the flesh was not sickness. It was some sort of demonic thing revolving around persecution because of the abundance of Paul's revelation. I haven't got time to explain that, but I will tomorrow. I'm tired, and I need to go to bed.
Tell me why Epaphroditus was sick to the point of death? I tell you why you don't understand
this sickness philosophy. You seek your will, rather than His will, and you do this because you
do not accept the fact that His ways and thoughts are higher than yours. You lack life
experiences that show God works for His will to bring about His work. I've seen it and went
through it myself. The body you inhabit is corruptible. It will wear out. It will get infections.
It will return to dust. It will not enter the kingdom of God, because it is corrupt.
That is why you will be given a new body, that will NOT get sick, tired or wear out.
There are false beliefs of what God wants us to have in this life:
1. Be wealthy
2. Be healthy
3. Live on easy street
4. Be loved by the world
If that were the Christian life, the unbeliever would accept God based on the lust of the flesh.
Jesus said to take up your cross (your electric chair, your hangman's noose, your lethal injection)
and follow Him. The Christian will go through trials for growth, for wisdom, for a testimony
to the unsaved world. This is how you shine as a light to the world. You can not
relate to a sick person if you have never been sick yourself. You can not relate to a person
having an operation, if you have never had one. You can never relate to a couple having marriage
problems if you never been through them yourself. But you go through these things, so you
can reach out to the unsaved. The things you go through, don't affect you only, but
everyone involved. It is like a ripple in a pond. Why is this person with cancer like me have joy?
Why can they still smile? Why aren't they fearing death? Being sick may have nothing to do with
you, where sin and faith is concerned, but for someone else to see you and the Lord in you.
The whole book of Job is a prime example of hardships for God's purposes:
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Had Job's children not died, had he not lost his wealth, and had he not gotten sick, there
would never been the book of Job. Its there for us to learn from, because it will happen.
