Hi Art, some people find it hard to talk about God and I think
men can be worse than women at times, as it's not always seen
as "manly" nor is showing emotions.

Maybe your dad really does want to talk about God but he is just not
sure how to go about it and start the conversation.

Does he find it hard to talk about other things?

Maybe at the wedding you can have a chat to him and he might
open up a bit more. Get chatting about bible versions or your
favourite verse, something light to see if he opens up.
Nope, dad just likes to talk about whatever. He likes to share random bits of information, so talking seems to be normal.

It don't matter now. His mouth finally got his arrogant self banned. I knew it would, sooner or later. :)
You do know I thought you were talking about Steph's dad at first, right?

(BTW, I noticed. The same day someone else got banned, and I thought we lost coby(2.))

I don't recommend at the wedding, because:
1. He's freaking that his little girl is getting married.
2. He's freaking that "that man" is taking away his little girl and...
3. He's freaking how much the wedding cost.
4. He's freaking at the one thing that went wrong. (I've never gone to a wedding or been in a wedding where something didn't go wrong. Mine was I almost lost my grandmother and brother, because they didn't know their way around town, and I forgot -- that quickly -- that I had just told them to follow us. Could be worse. Same brother was best man at another brother's wedding and he almost lost the groom. lol)
5. Father-of-bride gets pulled aside often for this and that.

Although, I can see the next day when the freaking subsides and he's feeling a bit nostalgic.
