ROFL, nooooo! The LOVE of money is the root of all evil! So girls, in and of themselves, are not evil. Loving them is evil. :p
^_^ That makes it worse...

Since we're talking about math and science...

I mean this COMPLETELY as a joke, as I love women and don't believe this around 97% of the time...

What happens if a girl doesn't love money......??
What happens if it frustrates her fiancee that she won't let him buy anything for her, because she really doesn't like it when he spends his money on her? :) :p

I suppose you both come out okay, unless gift giving is his love language...then not so much.

I'm afraid we're not wired that way, and even though you say that...everyone who speaks English still can be quite confusing. For example, the word 'love' in Hebrew has seven different words to be used depending on what the subject was, but we only have the one.

So, when someone says they 'love' tacos, or a book, or their family, or sunsets, or God...this are all different kinds of love.

...and that's just ONE of our words. English is the most complex language in the world!

I find that bit interesting, how one language has one word for something another has like 3-5 for, and the other langage has one word for a different word that the first language has more of.

I do wish there were more words for love in both English and Norwegian. Words like "like" and "being fond of" don't quite cover it.

Yeah... like how many words the Inuits have for the different types of snow. Seems like people feel the need to describe the things that are incredibly important to them... so what does it say about English-speaking people, that they really only have one word for love?

Again...English is the largest, most complex language in the world. Most English speakers don't even speak it that well.

Average English speakers vocabulary is approximately 3000 words.

More or less, known estimate of the words in the English language is 200,000 +

You like Poe? Cool! My favorite one of his was "Hopfrog". I also liked "The Bells" a lot.

Nice!

I just started reading, so I don't know what is my favorite yet.

A friend sent me The Raven line by line some years back :D I love that poem.
Yesterday I was reading The Unparalelled adventure of Hans Pfall :)

The Raven does have a nice cadence to it. A lot of his stuff was a little too macabre for my tastes, but I enjoyed almost all of it. :)

Why I chose what I did. :) Yes... sometimes, very rarely I actually understand myself. It's incredible!
