well i for one have a mess load of tattoos that i acquired during the darken period of my life....wishing now i had the money to remove two or 3 in specific but i cant because i honestly dont have the means.....if i could go back and change it i would but i cant...so ppl ask i tell them the truth...i see no reason to lie....i believe my lord has forgiven me for it an will one day provide me w/the means to rid my body of them....i agree its the body of the holy ghost and should not be defaded like this....
1 Cor 15 says the dead will be resurrected and get a new body. It will be spiritual, heavenly, immortal. This is not to excuse sin but to encourage you that you will not have to worry about the tattoos you want to remove because you will have a new body.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The assurance of forgiveness is not to be taken as license to sin. If you are not under the law but under grace, ought you to sin so that grace may increase? On the contrary, offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
