You can blame God and the Bible for that. Some people don't like the way that God set things up. This thinking is no different than the philosophy that we should be able to be with as many men or women as we desire. Some people swear that they are in love with 10 different women or 10 different men and that God couldn't possibly wwant them to be unhappy by denying them the right to have all 10 of them.
The question you have to ask yourself is: Are you going to trust your emotions or the word of God more?

No one. What he said was if you don't like gender roles then you should blame God since He is the one that created genders.
Think about it logically, if there were no differences between genders, then what is the purpose behind genders?
While it's true that culture places an emphasis on each gender trait, but to blame culture for these differences holds no logic. These gender roles have existed long before American culture. Read the bible. God Himself shows distinction in what He expects from each gender. As far back as Adam and Eve you can see where there are separate gender roles.
The problem is that culture takes these roles to an extreme. Just being emotional has nothing to do with a gender role, in reality. There are various types of personalities, and some of these types have a natural emotional side to them regardless of gender. This doesn't put your gender in question. It can be difficult as a male to not fall into the alpha male mentality. I know, i am not an alpha male myself. I can be emotional. And i have no questions about my gender or my role within my gender that God appointed. The real way to deal with this is not blame shifting and anti-culture rants, but learning how to function properly within the confines of modern culture and in the expectations of God. Right now you are focusing on the symptom rather than getting to the root of the problem, which is how you think about the situation.
Try taking this test and posting the results. This may be telling as to what kind of personality you have and can help explain some of the ways you are. I suggest posting the results in the Singles forum in the 'Streams of thought....' thread. You can get help understanding it there from our resident expert on the test results. Perhaps try explaining what you're feeling before posting the results and ask for some help in understanding how it all ties together.

Oh stop it! There's nothing wrong with being emotional!!!! People in our generation are very mean, bitter, upset & envious. Mainly because their upset and haven't leaned on the lord!!!! You just need someone to talk to who wouldn't judge your feelings/opinions. Your fine!!! Jesus made us all different & it's a reason for it! You know how boring the world would be if everyone was the same? Lol I couldn't imagine n don't want to.I'm here if you ever need or want to talk

I think he's just saying stereotypically he would be a woman because women are suppose to b whinny and emotional. Also because Sailor Moon is more of a girl show stereotypically.
I also disagree with these stereotypes. Lik I hate Nicholas Sparks and only enjoy th 2nd half of Titanic. Society would say I'm a guy, but i'm just a girl who hates dum chick flicks! Lik seriously how can anyone watch those!
