A lot of people myself included get going to church because of the exact opposite. I can't stand hymns or the old-fashioned cloyingness of some churches. It's church I want to swing upbeat praise and worship. And I don't want older people looking at me questionigly because of what I wore. Seriously if you are more concerned about what people are wearing then you have a problem. And sorry upbeat praise and worship beats those slow dreary hymns any day of the week. And nightclubs arent that bad. If its one of those tat have people doing nothing but grinding on each other then yeah, but nightclubs that just have live bands and stuff? anyone saying no, is to righteous for their own good.
My thoughts exactly. :]

yes there is. When the righteousness twists into a holier than thou attitude it's a problem. And I'm sure we have all met someone like this.
right. it becomes a problem though because sometimes we use this to justify sin.

so you are saying that these people are so "good" that they are "evil?"

no im saying their attitude is wrong. and that their interpretation is wrong as well. If i decide to go to a bar one night and have two beers while watching a football game or a band play, there is nothing wrong with that. Im not sinning, im not going against anything in God's word. And yet some people act like any amount of drinking is a sin. And they need to get over themselves.
