I was talking to my boss about video games once, and minecraft came up. I told him I have never played it, so he offered to buy me a box of legos.

Apparently, he says, its just as fun :p
Yes, Minecraft doesn't have a story-line. It's basically a light, open-world RPG with a heavy LEGO influence.

Yay! I've recently got into Minecraft in a big way. I'm still a noob, I only found diamond about a few days ago and there are many things I don't know how to build, but I'm having fun. To be fair, Survival mode is more difficult than Creative. And how creepy do those Endermen want to be? Pretty creepy! With their weird noises and their unpredictable behaviour and teleportation. Yikes!
Lol congrats on finding the diamond! I remember finding diamond when I played with my brother, but when I played alone and found red stone I was stoked lol. And I still don't know how to kill Endermen.

It's a really exciting game, and in survival mode, I try to find an island, build a town, build up fences and hide by night. It's so fun. Lol.

I think Minecraft is only for the gaming "purist"...

who thinks good graphics and a plot are the work of Satan.

: )
Lol! To be fair, I played and enjoyed both Minecraft and World of Warcraft (WoW is the work of the devil >.< I kid)

Great idea, sister! But don't you have to be in the same house etc. to hold a LAN party?

Haha! Sorry. Abing, do you know how to destroy spawn points? Huge numbers of mobs come and attack me underground, while I mine. I have plenty of lighting around me too. Thanks. :)

I like rpg and action/adventure... so, to name a few...

- Skyrim
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Dragon Age series
- Assassin's Creed series (except Rogue)
- Kingdoms of Amalur
- War in the North
- Shadows of Mordor
- The Witcher 3

Those are the ones I like best...
Haven't played Assassin's Creed(but seen a number of Let's Plays), don't know of War in the North, but I wanted to play Shadows of Mordor, Kingdoms of Amalur(a friend let me play it a bit. They should've made that with online play as well) and Witcher 3, and I have TES: Oblivion and Skyrim, Dragon Age: Origins, and several other games(nearly all are on PS3, Wii/GC, N3DSXL, and PS2, and the rest are on PC)

I usually like playing RPGs, mostly action RPGs and MMORPGs. I'm considering getting more into Strategy RPGs. I definitely liked StratRPGs like Fire Emblem(GBA) and Shining Force(Sega Genesis game, but I have it on a PC Sega Smash Pack 2 PC disc). Despite all these games, I haven't been playing much of them as often as I used to. I still like them, I just happened to be very preoccupied with other things. More important things.....for example....

Nice choices, man. Me and my sister loved Contra, Space Invaders, and all of the (listed) Super Mario Games. Ever played Burger Time, Gunsmoke, 1942, Bump n' Jump, Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario Kart, TMNT, or Double Dragon(1-3)? I've played a bunch of old school games. Wish I could buy a NES/SNES/Genesis from that awesome Retro Store.....

lol my sister uses that tone too not for her text, though. She made a short animated video and asked me to dub it and made it sound like a villager. We keep laughing everytime we hear it lol.

You can destroy the block! But you can farm exp from these too if you just keep killing them. :) I remember my brother used them for mob farms..,

Thanks, sister. But how do you find the spawn block? Are there any things that indicate where they might be hidden away? Also, how do I make a map? I keep getting lost far from home. Thanks!

Lol happens a lot! I used to just bring a bed in my bag, so in case I get lost, I can just sleep anywhere lol. It's just a block on the floor where the mobs come out, I haven't noticed if there were indicators, but they won't be hidden, at least they shouldn't be. You can even build a cage (I don't know how though) on the mob spawn point so when they come out, you can easily kill them for xp! Well the map, you'll need empty papers (from sugar cane) and a compass. Compass requires red stone :/ and iron. But you can find them in chests too, or buy them from the villagers in exchange for emerald.

Ah, thanks so much! Yes, I made a compass a few days ago. I've mined heaps of red stone, but I'm struggling to find sugar cane. Thanks also for the tips concerning the spawn blocks. And carrying a bed with you wherever you go, that's a brilliant idea! :)
