HCQ information and studies on how it was being used to treat COVID patients and the results were never banned or censored. Yes some liars and false claims got banned and that will always be the case especially if it is harmful to the public.

We now have many months of data that proved that HCQ did not do what they were hoping. If you want to keep believing a lie against the scientific data that has been collected on the use of HCQ go ahead, but I don't see anything wrong with a social media platform making a business decision of policy that they will take down videos that they think are lying to people about the benefits of HCQ for COVID. I think they have that right. Especially if they believe that such videos might cause people to be harmed.

We all have rights, even the social media platform companies.

I think all porn should be outlawed and no one should have the "right" to watch it. I will not budge from that. God will have the final say and that is coming soon.

all those who say hydroxy is not very effective are following the science and are correct.

At some point the science wins over the rhetoric. When that happens and someone decides to choose the rhetoric that is not bias that is belligerence. We don't get to choose between two opposing viewpoints on how a plane stays in the air. If you don't follow the science of aerodynamics you will fall to the ground whether you are strongly opinionated about your view or not.e

And I think that people sharing how they were given HCQ and recovered or how doctors used it was what was censored. That data is still discoverable with a google search. It was the outlandish, "silver bullet" claims and "it will cure you" and "you wont die if you use it" false information that got snipped.

Oh... and one more thing... the word "lib" does not even apply to our conversation. I vote Republican and I consider myself a conservative. I voted for Trump even though I thought he was loosing the election with his stupid comments. I don't remember what the polls say about this, but my guess is that there are probably more liberals among the antivaccine camp. Probably more pro vaccine in the conservative camp. I don't know. Google it. Regardless of the answer, I don't believe being pro vaccine is a liberal ideology and so it does not even make sense to use it in this discussion.

see, here is the thing- i am not a anti-vaxer. i am pro informed consent.

to say a new vaccine, only been used for 3 months, is " safe and effective".

all the stories about folks having medical issues after receiving the vax should not be tossed out as fake news.

and you most certainly are at lib, or at best a rhino republican.

420 Million vaccinated so far. And no, I do not believe anyone has died from a vaccine. And I believe anyone who says so is spreading lies. If it happens it will be made public and we will hear about how it was proven and what caused it. It will not be covered up. I kind of expect at least one person to die from some kind of allergic reaction, but none so far.

From what I am reading from CDC and sites like that there are no serious medical issues being reported that are turning out to be associated with the vaccine. VAERS does not demonstrate harm from vaccines. And the reports going into VAERS is being used by dishonest people to try and scare people into thinking that it means that the vaccine is causing harm.

When they investigate these reports (if the people even go to the hospital after reporting so that it can be investigated, this data also gets recorded and the results of that diagnosis is not reported in VAERS. The CDC and many other entities are analyzing all this data and nothing is being found to be related to the vaccines. Now you can say it is all being covered up but that is a conspiracy theory imagined by a skeptical outlook on reality but if you investigate further you will discover that there are too many checks and balances in place to cover up anything. If there is a smoking gun, if there is a pattern of the vaccine causing any medical problems it will be discovered and ten thousand medical and scientific professionals will be all over it like flies on bad meat. You say that is naïve for me to think so, I say it is real life. I say your conspiracy theory "everyone is corrupt" outlook on reality is not the way things really are.

We will see. Time will tell.

if you are waiting on the media, mostly on the big phrama payroll, to cover one of these stories, then you are really dreaming.

That's just not the way things work. Big Pharma is not controlling how these things get reported and investigated and tracked and are not able to influence this the way you imagine. That is conspiracy thinking from fantasies like movies and made up ideas about how things "might work" but it is not real life. They don't have that kind of control over the process and visibility of any reactions or problems or how it is investigated or recorded and it is impossible for them to with all of the checks and balances that are in place. There are many others involved designed just to insure that such a conspiracy theory cannot actually happen. Technical controls so that trust is not even something that has to be a concern. We use technical controls so that we do not rely on human honesty and also to control human error. It's a lot more reliable than what you thought.

The litigation does not prove that the vaccine causes damage. People can sue for any reason. Understanding the reason for government regulations requires reading instead of drawing conclusions based on appearance only.

The Office of Special Masters of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, popularly known as "vaccine court", administers a no-fault system for litigating vaccine injury claims.

just saw a cnn reporter say= " the government is here to help. they are not the " deep state", they are not lying. and, getting the vaccine and wearing a mask are not political statements, they save lies".

same as you say. you say you do watch mainstream media, but you sure do repeat a lot of their talking points.

Facebook is not the government and the government should not be allowed to interfere with their policy if they want to ban all antivaccine misinformation or misleading drug claims. You don't have a right to tell Facebook how to run their business. Correct?
