Casting Stones !!!

Even though I haven't casted any stones... I have made strong disagreements with my sister soulweaver, who is a gentle soul. We do agree on most things and I would like to publicly apologize for stepping out are friendship, are disagreements seemed big at the moment but everyone's on the same path of perfection.. I would like her to consider being my friend again, and anyone that has the love for God as we do. I know I can be hard to get along with, and I'm not much for just social light talk, I've lived a hard life escaping death more times then I can remember by the grace of God, and this has made me some what of a recluse. I apologize, I don't want anyone to be like me necessarily, I want everyone to be like Jesus... Thank you for making this thread Kenneth.. I love you all as Jesus loves you more. May God bless all of you in a special way...

I thought this person was my friend in CHRIST, but to tell people it's ok to do PAINKILLERS because their legs get tired after work, is disgusting, then say it's ok to watch HORROR flicks, and now it's ok to do MAGIC and act like Houdini, ...madness ... As long as you handle it in a loving and respectful manner, which I see you have by not using harsh words or name calling then its all good. We are here to edify each other, and make each other stronger in faith.

This isn't about me Kenneth, this is about telling the body of Christ it's ok to do those things... and I assure you, it's not. For someone to know so much about Gods word and talk like that is very strange, am I wrong here for calling these things out ? Do you think God wants us watching horror films, taking pain pills when we are tired, and doing magic is the question ?

Maybe you should personal message her instead of bad mouthing her on a Casting Stone thread.... I don't see one post for SoulWeaver in this thread....So why are you talking about her here? I don't get it? If you are going to cast a stone shouldn't she have a chance to catch it?

This thread is about not casting stones, and if you have done this to another or some one has done this to you. Then this is a way to apologize and forgive one another without derailing another thread.

It is not just tired legs, you assume. My whole body aches that I would not be able to work the next day if I dont take ibuprofen here and there. I work almost 10hr long shift and I have no pause, I also worked longer shifts than that. I have no weekend either I work at least 6 days a week. Why do you judge me? I certainly did not say Hey people, take pain pills!

I dont watch horror movies almost all of them are garbage, but if a movie has scary/horror elements but it does not glorify evil but instead fights evil you would not watch the movie? Because that's all I've said.

Who mentioned Houdini or that magic was okay? The dude is performing small tricks with cards and such to entertain friends. I honestly just believe he could use his time better, but will not speak out against something this unless God tells me to. I was not led to judge anyone for performing small tricks like make a coin disappear (I mean come on we all know it did not really disappear, he just cleverly hid it), that is between them and God.

Btw, if you want to rebuke somebody, the Bible commands us to do this privately first. I've been known to apologize to many here as well. I do not know why you do this. If you do not think I am God's then unfriend me, I dont know what else to tell you. It is better than this kind of stuff.

I'm not casting stone " condemning " but rather OUT OF LOVE FOR CORRECTION make known that these things are not righteous or of God. She's still on my friends list, I'm not saying condemn her, I'm saying she needs to come to truth, and maybe she can apologize for saying them...

I wasn't saying you were doing it. I was saying this is the purpose of this thread, so we can get things off our chests when we have done wrong to another or somebody has done wrong to you. This is so if anybody has this happen while chatting they can come here and talk about it, instead of debating and arguing in another thread. This is a work it out and forgiveness thread.

Wow, ibuprofen now... If it's ibuprofen your taking, it's best to give a clear description on a " christian website " not say .." Had to pop some pain killers " other drugs come to mind, and maybe they will take those instead of " ibuprofen ". Now your saying you don't watch horror movies ? You said you did last night " as long as they're well written " ..as for judging him on magic .. It's not JUDGING OR CONDEMNING someone when your trying to correct, and lead them righteously to walk with Christ ..

All this comes back to, is telling people to do what they want, we should do as the Holy Spirit leads us, magic or horror films is not where God will lead anyone, in any case I love you as Jesus loves you more, or I would say nothing and hope Christ can make you think about some of the things you are saying here,

As for horror films or other things like that, are you letting it control your thoughts and effect your spiritual growth? Or are you doing it just for the fun of it, and don't believe in or follow anything you see or hear in it ? If it effects you spiritually then definitely stop, but if it doesn't I don't believe you will not have salvation for watching it.
You can say that the same with a statue; If you have one in your house there is nothing wrong, if now you worship it then there is something wrong with having it. As for magic that also depends on what magic you are talking about. The kind like David Copperfield and other card tricks, disappearance acts, and so on, or like black magic or using stones for healing and such. The first is not wrong, the latter would be for dibble in bad things and take your eyes off the true healer.
Anything can be abused by us, even being online and watching TV can be abused.

O, so it's ok to do cocaine if the doctor prescribes it ? They used to have it in cold drinks ... Why not then ? O, watching children get slaughtered on a horror flick is ok ? Is it ok I go talk to false spirits ? If it's just for fun ? Is it ok to jam a gun in someone's face just for fun, or steal and so fourth ? Com' on... None of this is ok... Following the word of God and Holy Spirit is joyful not doing magic and watching horror films...

Well I apologize for creating confusion on the term, you should remember I am not a native English speaker, when I say painkiller I mean a regular medicine, not heavy addictive drugs for terminal illnesses. Ibuprofen and such is all I take and would take (and which is only legal, man). I hate any manmade chemistry so I really refuse to take any of such unless I must. And it is not like I take it too often. It would just harm me if I did so.

Regarding the movies, I said in the original post I dont watch them but I would watch it if it had a godly message (truly rare are those who do!), not as well they are written (as you misquote me). I consider artistic skill garbage if it is not used for the love of good. I have burned my own writings/poems from the unbeliever times because it was not for God and my work on this is my best witness. You are adding stuff to me I simply did NOT say.

Regarding the third thing, I did not even comment on that thread...! I only liked the post recommending a poster to evangelize people around him! I was not led to condemn someone who is doing card and coin tricks to entertain friends... as this is not contact with demons in intself, so I did not even post on there and you come saying I condone magic on there...? That is a bit outstretched...
