"Studies have shown that pilots and flight attendants are at higher risk for skin cancer. According to a study in JAMA Dermatology, published by the American Medical Association, flight crews have twice the incidence of melanoma compared with the general population."

The not-so-friendly skies? Why pilots and flight attendants have a higher risk of skin cancer

https://utswmed.org/medblog/not-so-friendly-skies-why-pilots-and-flight-attendants-have-higher-risk-skin-cancer/#:~:text=Studies have shown that pilots, compared with the general population.

They are surrounded by an airplane and you think mylar will protect them?

I do not see any evidence that mylar is recommended to shield you from radiation. We use lead to protect us. And a simple search just came back with products made from lead as a shield.
You obviously don't know the difference between cosmic and nuclear radiation. I do. Part of my work in the military involved nuclear decontamination. We never had to do it for real, thank God. But I know the difference.

Whatever research you find to show that flight crews are affected by cosmic radiation, I can find other research that debunks it. Skin cancer? Rubbish. Skin is damaged by UV. UV does not get through the aircraft skin. It will get through perspex. Unless things have changed in the last few years, flight crews are fully dressed, so UV does not affect them.

What do you imagine the space suits are made of? It's not a layer of mylar, that's for sure. Do you bother to do any research at all, or just take some troll's comments as gospel?

hint-

a conspiracy theorist will not accept anything form nasa as anyways honest..

( nasa was helped in it's formation by ex nazi scientists, but that is another conversation.)

ok guys. lets think about this. where is all the fuel in this thing. if the moon has 1/6 g then where is the 1/6 fuel.

And Mitsubishi went from making fighters and bombers to cars. The allies could not wait to grab the Germans who worked on Germany's advanced weapons projects. VW was initiated by Hitler. Porsche designed cars but also tanks for the German war effort. No one seems to care about that any more.

Could you try to ask a dumber question? I still have a little tolerance left.

they needed 1/6 the fuel to land also so where is 1/3 the fuel capacity in this thing

Besides the deal clencher radiation issue and other serious problems with the moon landing, there is a myriad of other supporting evidence that collectively removes any doubt about the fakery.

Such as the proven fake “moon rocks”, or Aldrin and especially Kubrick confessions.

But think about this, it has been a solid half century since the last time we supposedly went.

If we deduct 50 years from the date we supposedly went, you get to the year 1919.

Flight was still in it’s infancy. We were flying bi planes with single propellers.

In that 50 years we went from biplanes to jets to rockets.

What have we to show as it pertains to flight, especially space flight, from 1969 to 2023?

We have the joke called the space shuttle. Which accomplished what exactly? Except to confirm that as we approach the end of lower earth orbit, the radiation is too intense for humans, as some of the astronauts eyes burned.

Why didn’t the space shuttle go to the moon?

50 plus years folks!!!

They’re making us out to be fools by continuing this farce and obscene cost to maintain the lie.

I'm bowing out of this idiocy.

You kids can't accept that your grandparents were smart enough to put a man on the moon. What bothers me is that some here could be sitting on the moon, looking at the foot prints, the equipment left behind, and the spherical earth, along with the blackness of the space and no stars visible in the daytime on the moon, and will continue to say no one landed on the moon.

Face the facts. Your grandparents were a lot smarter than you give them credit for. I was there. It happened. And that's a fact!

A simple poll.
Did we go to the moon or not???
we did land on the moon, 1 if we did not, and other countries did ,land there and our flag is not there, we then would be known as liars and hypocrites, at look like the biggest fools to the world, and at that time ,we were a people of integrity, yes we did go to the moon

if you going to add it all up dont forget the gravitational pull and the moons atmosphere, you must think about, they to go around the moon a number of times before landing, by using the gravitational pull between the earth and the moon, this how they solved the gas problem

The lander was 1/1,000th the weight of the Apollo rocket fully loaded. So they need 1/3,000th the fuel.

How much Space Radiation are Astronauts Exposed to?
Beyond Low Earth Orbit, space radiation may place astronauts at significant risk for radiation sickness, and increased lifetime risk for cancer, central nervous system effects, and degenerative diseases. Research studies of exposure in various doses and strengths of radiation provide strong evidence that cancer and degenerative diseases are to be expected from exposures to galactic cosmic rays (GCR) or solar particle events (SPE).

Milli-Sievert (mSv) is a form of measurement used for radiation. Astronauts are exposed to ionizing radiation with effective doses in the range from 50 to 2,000 mSv. 1 mSv of ionizing radiation is equivalent to about three chest x-rays. So that’s like if you were to have 150 to 6,000 chest x-rays.

You know when you ask reasonable questions and the response is insults that you have discovered a lie.

remember also back then, there was no fake news, no starwars, no deep fakes like today, and there were no reson to fake it if you can really do it, and the holy spirit will lead you into all truth,

Billy, you’re a good guy, and a brother in the Lord, but you didn’t answer a single point from either my post or others.
Holding your breath and taking your ball and going home in frustration because others make uncomfortable points isn’t too good.

Since you say you were “there” or in the industry, tell us what the point of the space shuttle program was, and why they never left lower earth orbit?

Also, you didn’t go to the moon. Not sure what capacity you were involved, but there were MANY involved that were indeed duped. You saw what they allowed you to see, and what telemetry they allowed you to see.
