I havent been to the moon, sigh
Is anyone here actually gonna go or you just all standing round talking about it. And what you gonna do when you get there anyway, I mean is there stuff to do?

Or is it just to say youve been there, like bragging rights.
One guy shot a round of golf on the moon. His ball landed in a crater for a hole in one.

Golf?! I can play that on earth. But I dont.

McDonalds already have had many times.

I think I'll pass....

I think I'd rather go to Hawaii, plenty of craters there.

Official story:

On Apollo 11, Michael Collins was filming from the Columbia aircraft, while Aldrin and Armstrong were in the lunar module (Eagle).

Conspiracy Theory:

Stanley Kubrick possibly filmed it in a studio in the U.K., or somewhere in Area 51. It may also been filmed by a NASA stage employee in some indoor studio.

Side note:

Supposedly tons of film footage of the moon landings has been destroyed. You figure since was an epic journey, a first of it's kind of mankind, they would of kept it under lock and key in some museum for the public.

It took only 7 yrs from JFK to declare we would put a man on the moon by the end of the decade, til we went, right when he said we would.

It’s been almost half a century since we supposedly last went there. NASA has had a bevy of reasons why we haven’t gone back or anywhere else.

The reason I like the best is a NASA official saying we lost the technology to go there!!

There is plenty of material for the conspiracy folk to talk about regarding the moon landing. I remember watching a video a long time ago on how the Apollo 11 got to the moon, and I just didn't buy it. Never even knew what a conspiracy was, but just didn't believe it was possible, even at an early age.

I don't see how questioning things are wrong, or shows any signs of mental inferiority. Even Nicodemus questioned Jesus, and thanks to the small role that Nicodemus had, he can partially be credited for our famous John 3:16 verse. Honest questioning should not be looked down upon, why is it that those who hold to the official story of the moon landing, seem to have such unflattering responses?!?!

John 31 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council.2 He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."

William Kaysing could be like a modern Nicodemus type in some ways. The guy brings up some valid points, whether or not they are worthy of serious consideration, is up to each individual to decide.

William Kaysing started the Moon Landing Hoax. He wrote a book in 1976 called, We Never Went to the Moon: America's Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle

Some of his points are...

  1. Old Glory: The American flag the astronauts planted on the moon, which should have been flaccid, the moon existing in a vacuum, is taut in photos, even waving, reveling more than NASA intended. (Knowing the flag would be flaccid, and believing a flaccid flag was no way to declare victory, engineers fitted the pole with a cross beam on which to hang the flag; if it looks like its waving, that’s because Buzz Aldrin was twisting the pole, screwing it into the lunar soil).
  2. There’s only one source of light on the moon—the sun—yet the shadows of the astronauts fall every which way, suggesting multiple light sources, just the sort you might find in a movie studio. (There were indeed multiple sources of light during the landings—it came from the sun, it came from the earth, it came from the lander, and it came from the astronauts’ space suits.)
  3. Blast Circle: If NASA had actually landed a craft on the moon, it would have left an impression and markings where the jets fired during takeoff. Yet, as can be seen in NASA’s own photos, there are none. You know what would’ve left no impression? A movie prop. Conspiracy theorists point out what looks like a C written on one of the moon rocks, as if it came straight from the special effects department. (The moon has about one-fifth the gravity of earth; the landing was therefore soft; the lander drifted down like a leaf. Nor was much propulsion needed to send the lander back into orbit. It left no impression just as you leave no impression when you touch the bottom of a pool; what looks like a C is probably a shadow.)
  4. Here you are, supposedly in outer space, yet we see no stars in the pictures. You know where else you wouldn’t see stars? A movie set. (The moon walks were made during the lunar morning—Columbus went ashore in daylight, too. You don’t see stars when the sun is out, nor at night in a light-filled place, like a stadium or a landing zone).
  5. Giant Leap for Mankind: If Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, then who was filming him go down the ladder? (A camera had been mounted to the side of the lunar module).

Yes, I know there are counter points, which are widely available, but if you consider these arguments were brought up in the 1970's, the guy had a lot of nerve to question apple pie, baseball, and the American Way during the time of the cold war.

Yeah, I seen a portion of that interview in a different video. It really sounds like he is making it up, as he goes on. Who knows? A really important question to ask, why did they destroy the technology?

The U.S. was first to use Nukes, but it didn't take Russia to long for them to catch up with this technology. Russia caught up in 5 years. This makes more sense. You would figure Russia would of sent a man to the moon by 1980 or less, to show strength. To me it shows, it was impossible mission to complete, with the technology back than. It may even be impossible today, but that's debatable.

On a side note, I think God doesn't want man in space, without an invitation. If so, why have Van Allen Radiation Belts? Remember the tower of Babel? God ended that, sense man want to be up in heaven.

I read another web page awhile back, that Russia asked the U.S. for a partnership in sending a man to the moon, but the U.S. refused. This was the same time that Russia was sending U.S. Astronauts to the Internationals Space Station. By the way, Russia started the International Space Station. Also read that the U.S. helped Russia in putting up the I.S.S. with the Space Shuttle.

There was definitely a partnership in the space program between Russia and the U.S., not sure how things are now. A news report indicated that Russia sent face masks to the U.S., because the U.S. had a shortage during Covid.

"Giant Leap for Mankind: If Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, then who was filming him go down the ladder? (A camera had been mounted to the side of the lunar module). "

This point by Kaysing is interesting. According to a google search, one of the two astronauts attached a camera on the decent, while landing on the moon. This doesn't make much sense to me. What are the odds of making a stable connection?

Imagine approaching the moon (not sure if this part was televised live or not), sending live streams, than landing, and all satellite transmissions were perfectly inline while in motion. This is working while both the moon and earth are spinning a 1,000 miles or more. That is pretty remarkable, no matter what side you take.

250,000 miles apart and we have a perfect link. Modern cell phones don't even come close to this, and cell towers are far closer.

They look virtually the same. The U.S. first flight was 1981 and the USSR was in 1988. Less than a 10 year gap. The moon landing gap is 50 years and counting. With modern technology and computers, you would think China, Russia, or someone else could of come in second place. If it comes down to economics and funding, China should be on the moon shortly.

Personally, I think if man ever does get on the moon, it will be in some moon tank, with massive amounts of shielding. Not walking around in a space suit. That's just science fiction in my book.

Didn't y'all hear us talking about fairies? You need fairy dust to visit the moon. Apparently, NASA collected a whole jar full the last time they were there, but Buzz Aldrin threw it at a conspiracy theorist who didn't believe in fairies. So now NASA are still trying to figure out a way to get back. I know, you're probably thinking "That would never have happened, 'cause no one who is sane denies the existence of fairies".

But someone took a photo of the incident as it happened. The guy on the right hiding his face is the one denying the existence of fairies, and Buzz Aldrin is the one with the flying fist. Buzz actually injured his hand after his first punch, so the jar of fairy dust was the next projectile of opportunity. The rest, as they say, is history. Poor NASA. As they say in the songs "money can't buy you fairy dust".

well.Buzz Aldrin seems convinced he went there in his autobiography/memoir...though theres the possibility he was brainwashed and think he went there when he didnt...or got a ghostwriter to pen his memoir.

He probably got people all the time asking him did he really go? I read that for the rest if his life he kept lobbying for NASA to take other people but they didnt want to.

Plus he was a bit miffed that all the glory went to Neil Armstrong for being first to step outside rather than him. Armstrongs marriage didnt end well, as his wife got annoyed with him for going away to the moon as an excuse for everything.

Do a search on the phrase 'As American as Apple Pie'.
what? according to wikipedia the apple pie originated in England.

They were eating it for centuries before the america continent was even settled by europeans. Huh.

I prefer meat pies. Potato top, also known as cottage or shepherd's pie. I dont think it really belongs to any one country or continent though...

what about pumpkin pie. That seems more typically american. Didnt pumpkins orignate in the americas?

If you look at A, you will see that the gas pump casts a shadow in the opposite direction! There is only one light source on the moon, i.e. the Sun, and hence all shadows must be in the same direction. You can see that the shadows cast by all other objects are in the other direction. Some conclusive evidence that these pictures are doctored pictures.
