I'll give my independent view and say, I love Christmas, I love the spectacle of it all (although it seems to be waning every year) and I love all the lights and stuff. Sorry but I do, I love giving and receiving presents, it's just a good time. I do however know the real meaning of Christmas, and why Christians celebrate it. Yeah he Jesus wasn't born in December, but does it matter?
We celebrate our life in Christ every day :)

What's the difference between dressing and stuffing?? Same ingredients but there is a difference in taste.
Well dressing is putting on clothes and stuffing is what you do putting on clothes after the holidays.

We do not celebrate "Christmas" in the traditional sense of the word, but what we do in my home because of my children is we eat cake. We celebrate Hanukkah, but my children are mixed Jew and non Jew and have been raised Messianic. What I mean by we eat cake is we have a birthday cake every year and sing happy birthday to Y-shua. Even though I do not believe December 25th is His birthday it is nice to have a day to celebrate it. It's all fictional anyway so who cares. But it can never be all bad to have a day people think about Him, worship Him in church when otherwise never step foot across the threshold of a church. I man Christmas to "Christians" is like Yom Kippur to a Jew....

But if you really think about the holiday I'm confident it does make G-d happy. People do righteous acts they will not do any other time of year. Give to the poor, be loving and friendly. Even the scrooge shows kindness at Christmas.

I think it's sad Christians have a problem with Christmas, shouldn't it be the atheist that want to silence G-d and not His people too.?.

Dressing is cooked by itself while stuffing is cooked inside the bird and juices from the bird add to the flavor!!

Pagan Christmas zombie thread, back from the graaaaaaaaave!

zombiesanta.jpg

We haven't had many "Christmas is pagan!" threads this year. In fact we haven't had ANY in some forums. So we must resort to the Halloween tradition of digging up zombie threads to fill the gap.

Was just thinking. I don't know why some make the choice to focus on what some unrighteous, wicked did. We know there is no other God out there. So to stop focusing on false gods but to focus on the real true king. If you think about Christ coming to earth.. how does that make you feel? Some of us feel that its His birthday ever day. Oh its just been what 3 days since Christ rose.. I think they have not stopped rejoicing.

Out of heart.. out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
