I'm not trying to be unkind, but I think Heliocentrists often believe what they do because they have no grasp of basic science, mathematics, trigonometry or geometry. Highschool stuff can dispel the hocus-pocus of Heliocentric theory, but the Heliocentrists can't see it because they don't know it.

The irony is they're often the ones calling the other side uneducated.
I completed Physics through high school (consistently top of class) and first year of university. What's your education in the subject?

Go back to your diagram, and explain to me how what you just said measures up to geometry. Either your diagram is wrong, or your statement here is.
I didn't claim that the entire hemisphere would be visible according to the diagram I provided. I merely proved that Venus would be visible. You need to read more carefully and stop assuming that other people are stupid just to back up your own prejudice.

Why does it matter? If I say better than that, you'll think I am boasting (or lying!) If I withhold the information, you'll assume that I didn't exceed your own qualifications and therefore you are correct. This is the problem with an appeal to authority.

It was what you implied, especially to a casual reader who may not know better. Your Heliocentric theory can't explain why an entire hemisphere of Venus can be seen (if Venus even be a ball), and yet rather than admit this to be a flaw in Heliocentric theory, you try and talk around it as if the inconsistency doesn't exist. It might appear dishonest to some.

LOL. So many logical fallacies, so little time. You are the one who said heliocentrists often believe
what they do because they have no grasp of basic science, mathematics, trigonometry or geometry.
You appeal to authority, give a non sequitur, and then move the goal posts! Jeepers.

I stated my qualifications only to demonstrate that I am not unlearned on the subject as you had clearly implied.

It’s not a flaw, and it’s not an inconsistency. Simple geometry explains the reality.

I would've drown 10 times.
No, it only takes once - then, you are dead - then, you cannot drown any more... :geek:

Isn't it a blessing to know that we will never have to drown more than once?

Now - "nearly drowned" - that is a whole 'nother thing... ;)

How many times have some of us gone through the "nearly drowned" experience in our lifetime?

I was just trying to be humorous...

Did you see the diagram and the inconsistent statement? Or are you too one who claims Flat Earthers are stupid, but can't do 10th grade geometry?

Maybe you need to restudy, because your diagram is inconsistent with your statement. Like I said, mathematics doesn't lie, irrespective of what place you are (or would like to be) in a Physics class.

You are being so inconsistent, you continue to make little sense.

If I don't make sense to you, you probably don't have a good understanding of geometry. The below diagram should help you understand the folly of Heliocentrism's explanation of Venus.

As we know, the entirety of a side of Venus can regularly be seen from Earth, yet Heliocentrism would have us believe this is impossible.

Once again, I made the statement and, SEPARATELY, I made the claim.

Like I said earlier, READ MORE CAREFULLY.

smh...

Now - apply this to the scale drawing I posted earlier - giving Earth and Venus the less-than-one-pixel sizes as indicated on the drawing - and, it should illustrate quite vividly what the 'real deal' is...

Those two lines on your drawing showing how much of Venus can be seen are going to get a whooooole lot closer together! ;)

(The angle between them will be significantly smaller.)

This is what I invited @Dino246 to do - to scale his drawing.

Yes, the arc that Venus would inhabit would be very small, but as the photo of Venus provided absolutely no context, you cannot make any point with it.
