I'm well aware that police deal with evil people, that's still no excuse to be sending people to jail just for being a Christian. Pleases stop making excuses for bad policing
Excuses? You know nothing. Without the cops the entire nation would be Minneapolis last summer. You prepared to defend yourself?

How many Christians are in prison just for being Christian in South Carolina? Not many, I would suggest. Or anywhere else in the USA.

(Please note that this has nothing to do with BLM but is more about the future of policing and what role they play based off of what the bible says) I've been thinking and noticing all that's been happening over the past year with law enforcement, and am wondering if we (anyone but mostly Christians) should support the police. Now i don't mean it like the police are doing wrong, or killing innocent people like we see on the news, but that whenever the new world order comes along, or whenever the government creats unjust laws that we as christians HAVE to DISOBEY, when then should we support police ? Or rather why should we support them since the bible says ( 2 Timothy 3:12) we will be persecuted. I personally support individual officers when they do what is right, but i would never trust/support the police as a whole. Thoughts ?
what are you even talking about?

maybe supporting rioting hoodlums is better

I can see you have given this much thought.

I'm really curious. are you still in high school?

I noticed you say you do not know if you are saved or not...so what is all this concern over 'Christians'? do you know what Christianity is?

This is an example of police not restraining evil, further justifying my point that police don't do what is right all the time.
no it's not example of police at all

it's an example of the Supreme Court ruling years back. Roe vs Wade. look it up

please try to get an education before slinging accusations in every direction. you don't know what you are talking about

I can agree that if people don't want something or someone then don't use it/them. But we don't need a police officer for a car accident, and when a family is murdered usually a detective would handle that. Really we don't need a police officer for every situation we come across. We need policing but we don't need cops spending most of their time enforcing unjust laws, while occasionally actually helping people.
seems it does not matter which one of your posts I read, they are indicate a high level of ignorance regarding society in general and police in particular

what do you think a detective is?

why don't you list what you think are unjust laws. have you ever been arrested? you sound like you have a personal grudge against police

I don't but much of what we accept in this world is FAR from what He intended for us, especially now IF we are born again, Holy Spirit filled and walking out our faith as He intended.
He promises to protect His own from ALL the schemes of the devil, anything that isn't love joy peace, patience, etc, is His realm, anything that comes to steal, kill and destroy is in the realm of the devil, all "accidents" lack, loss, sickness, etc are from the devil.

There are hundreds if not thousands of videos of criminals with badges, guns and fast cars perpetrating evil on citizens and being protected under the guise of "authority".

Don't paint the men and women of law enforcement with a broad brush. Cultural.marxists in this country (USA) want no police so that anarchy ensues, which in turn gives them talking points on why their idea of a police state is preferred. Careful about "defunding the police" movement: it's a rouse.

Until we solve our gang problems and drug abuse problems, we will continue to see violence in our communities increase.

@RaceBoy, how do we stop the gang drive by shootings? How do we get the illegal and deadly drugs off the street? How do we stop those who drive or walk up to a police car and open fire? What laws do you want the police not to enforce? How will those laws make our communities safer? Why don't you get behind your policemen and policewomen? Give the tools and support to take action to remove the criminals from your streets. Don't tie their hands because you are afraid there may be a bad apple in the police force.

Its important to note as to how long this has been happening. I'm pretty sure Chicago has been experiencing crime for decades, so are the police not doing their jobs ? Cuz this surely has nothing to do with BLM.

I never said to defund or abolish the police. Please don't put words into my mouth. I'm not painting the police as evil, I'm simply pointing to the fact that they work for the state and not us, so they can't do but so much that the state allows them to do.

You keep mentioning BLM. Wonder why that is? As for Chicago. Look what they have for elected officials. They make policy, not the police.

Instead of asking me that question, you should be asking why the police haven't stop these crimes from happening ?

"What laws do you want the police not to enforce?"

I want police to enforce just laws that make sense (rape, murdering, stealing, etc.) not enforcing mask mandates are window tint
violations.

"How will those laws make our communities safer?"

How do window tint violations make communities safer ? How does a modified exhaust make communities safer ?

"Why don't you get behind your policemen and policewomen?"

I get behind them when they do what is right.

"Give the tools and support to take action to remove the criminals from your streets. Don't tie their hands because you are afraid there may be a bad apple in the police force."

How am i supposed to give them tools to remove criminals from the streets ? And i'm not afraid of a bad cop, and simply tired of unjust systems treating people unfairly

Because people keep using BLM as an excuse for the failings of our government/police to provide adequate protection for its citizens.

Yes i've given this plenty of thought. i used to be MUCH more critical of police but my views have changed over time.

I support good policing that gets criminals off the streets, not policing for profit such as asset forfeiture with not PC or RAS.

The governors of the states plagued by BLM looters were at fault for not enforcing the law. The same party, your party, that wants to defund the police.
