I don't need anyone to answer this question to me, but hope they will answer it to themselves. Seeing this picture are you motivated to pray for our nation and for the Kingdom to come and for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven?

People are now paying to not get a college degree!

Wow, how bad must college be that people who didn't get degrees have to pay for those who did?

Referring to the OP title.. Is there a concensus?

Or is it that all Empires come to an end at one point or other🤔.

Just looking at history we see the web and flow of empires. They rise up and then fall down. Up and down and up and down its just a matter of time.

Would you agree or disagree🤔

The Egyptian empire lasted for close to 3,000 years.

The Roman Empire lasted over 1,000 years.

The Greek Empire about 900 years.

The US has only been the sole superpower since 1991 and by 2021 China had caught us. 30 years as the sole superpower, 75 years as a superpower.

So how long do you think the American (Sole) empire/superpower will last 🤔.. Personally i wouldn't like to put a time frame on it. It used to be said that the sun never went down on the British empire, that is until it did. Ivm the Dutch etc had similar sayings.

Theres some interesting views on what's going to happen politically/economically. Interesting stuff.

Two more weeks. But I'm being conservative, it could end sooner.

Lol I think there's a lot of years left yet🤔
Such great power will come to naught in one hour.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

The superpower status of America has ended already. The only superpower today is China.

I'm not sure if China is even close yet, economically and militarily.. They maybe the second biggest in the world GDP but even that is a good bit behind the US.

But anything can happen🤔

Ray Dalio has good researched analysis on the economic and political history of empires (chairman of the biggest hedge fund in the world and academic). Whether he is correct or not I don't know but his analysis is not easily brushed of.

But that great power you refer to might not be America. At the second coming all powers will bow the knee to Christ.

Let's face it. If push came to shove, the US would back down under Chinese aggression. If China decides to grab Taiwan, America will simply stand by (just like Crimea and the Ukraine, and many other hot spots around the world). America does not have the will to win against its enemies. That is why they are handing over nuclear capability to Iran, the sworn enemy of "the Great Satan".

Talk is cheap. It is only actions that count. And handing over Afghanistan to the Taliban is a clear message to the enemies of America -- "the USA is finished".

If you look at his big cycle we have already passed the point of financial bust and economic downturn. We have also passed the point of printing money -- trillions and trillions and still counting. In fact we are in the "wars and revolutions" stage. Look at China, look at Russia, and look at the US. That is where we are at right now. Only when this goes nuclear as we have heard repeated threats from Russian leaders, Chinese leaders, N. Korean leaders and Iranian leaders, well that will not be a long drawn out war. 1 hour and the world will be changed.

Under the current leadership, I will have to agree...

Thank you for the clarification

It is so good to hear from Lori Lightfoot. She does not mind if Texas sends Chicago freight, say oil tankers filled with oil, as a gift. That would be fine with her, but bussing immigrants is not the same thing, they aren't freight, they are people. What is she supposed to do with people? Besides bussing them herself to other places.

So when she says that Chicago is a welcoming city she is referring to welcoming free oil or some other freight. So all you governors out there, if you have any extra resources like food or oil you can send it to Chicago, they welcome free gifts.

Another thing that may not have made any sense. She said that Chicago would happily drain Texas of all their people? There are close to 30 million people in Texas and Chicago would happily take them all? But then she clarified, she is talking about women seeking abortions. They would happily kill all the unborn babies in Texas. What a perfect spokesperson for such a ghoulish thought.
