Ask the Australians about the train that runs across southern Australia. Ask them if it is not nearly straight as an arrow (at least, compared to google maps - where it is anything but straight). Ask them how long the track is from end to end (longer than all of BE Australia east-to-west).
A FEer "did the math" based on information from the train system's website - with some very interesting results.
I would love to see a good honest Austrailian verify the FEer's research.
(Or, give us some real data that shows just exactly how the FEer was mistaken.)
