War is proof man is corrupt and cannot govern himself. Through greed and hate..

War is a by product of the quest to have knowledge of good and evil but not die.

Everything comes to pass in due season.. leading to the Harvest of the world.
The mortal realm hosts the mortal vessels.. if one remains in unbelief they seek much vanity.. chase the wind.

So peace and security according to man brings about great destruction.. for it is not good and actually a very oppressive non free will state.
This world and its story is foretold.. to be redeemed and receive everlasting life we trust not in man’s ideologies.. their rainbow is immorality. We repent and abide in the world awaiting His return. Be not of it.. only abide in Faith. Each war is terrible but man is corrupt.

I feel sad that so many glorify war (amongst humans)
Its only because they dont know any better way to live, and people cant seem to get along with each other

to be truly safe and to know peace and security is to be saved by Jesus

Who never hurt anyone or caused them to die, instead he healed people most of who, had wounds and injuries due to some war or other

people in poverty are because of war, and people that are rich are also due to war...when people steal land off others and enrich themselves by destorying others, they are guilty of ill gotten gains.

widows and orphans and fatherless are no thanks to war

refugees and migrants due to war as well

Jesus had to flee, to Egypt because King Herod wanted to kill him even though he was a mere babe

children are often packed off somewhere else while theres wars and separated from families
or they get roped in to be soldiers, the worst are teens that dont know any better and they can be savage as their brains are undeveloped to have any sense of another human being they are killing, they just think its a game of hide and seek and destroy

Satans modis operandi is war ...he come only to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus gives us life and life in abundance

War is how God judges nations. It is mostly God's providence.

Why do you think man's efforts to legislate war has had so little impact? You can't legislate God's providence. When the cup is full, his wrath is poured out! No legislation, no treaty, no anything can stop God's wrath.

why you attributing war to God.

arent you forgetting satans role.

Gods wrath isnt men fighting each other. God can just create a flood and sweep everyone away. He doesnt need men fighting each other with sticks, stones and bombs. He can just make the earth shake or create a volcano.

If Satan had his way we would all be holding hands building the Tower of Babel 2.

After the Jews rejected Jesus, 40 years later- did he melt Jerusalem with lava, or send General Titus to raze the city to the ground?

Jesus didnt send any general

he just warned the Jews about the romans, Jesus wasnt actually behind the romans burning anything. Jesus praised the centurion for having faith

so, not sure what Bible you are reading.

Maybe you think Jihad and crusades were justified,

tower of Babel wasnt a war, it was different languages, which God still gives us when we speak in tongues.

theres already lots of towers in cities anyway. They not really doing much. Trump had one, and some others fell down like the twin towers.

the jews had already brought corruption into the temple anyway. it wasnt as if they had to defend anything, they bought about their own downfall, because God had left and called it ichabod anyway.

with Israel being already occupied by romans, they didnt need a war to end it. If you look at the big picture, it was so God could scatter them in among all nations with exile.

Where did he say anything about Romans coming?
Jesus praised the centurion for having faith
Yes, that's a very good story, but not the one I'm talking about.
so, not sure what Bible you are reading.
Luke 20 v9-16, any version you'd like.
Maybe you think Jihad and crusades were justified,
I think Peter the Hermit was a little nuts, and most of the knights in the later crusades just wanted to profit. As far as Jihadists go, I think they're all nuts. But that doesn't mean that God didn't use them to judge people. Just like he used the Assyrians, who he calls "the rod of mine anger" and "the staff of their hand is mine indignation", to punish Israel- that is, right before he punished them because in their hearts they were just conquering for themselves- but they were being used by him to destroy. It's all in IS ch 10.

It's not about whether or not the people doing war are justified- sometimes they are, and sometimes they're not; but either way they're going to accomplish the will of God, because as Romans 13 explains, they are God's servants. Who am I to judge another man's servant?

tower of Babel wasnt a war, it was different languages, which God still gives us when we speak in tongues.
I know- the languages is what God did to break up the construction of the Tower. If Satan had his way, the nations would would not be fighting each other, they would be united with one language, and building the tower. The one time the world was united, man thought he could get on just fine without God. Do you think that is what God wants? God divided the world into nations that they might seek after him.

If you look at the big picture, it was so God could scatter them in among all nations with exile.
So.... you are acknowledging that God did this then?[/QUOTE]

God is always on the side of the victor. Woe to the foolish society that provokes the Lord to send the Judgement of the Sword! For it shall devour much flesh and drink much blood. The Sword of God regards no persons and has no bias. The Sword of Jesus will hear no excuses, it will show no favoritism, nor pity. Woe to the wicked society and shameful generations of liars, idolators, and adulterers that provoke the Lord to send his Four Sore Judgements, ending in the Sword!

Indeed; God himself, is the victor. But it's difficult for people to think in those terms, because nobody wants to think that "innocent" people or "civilians" "deserve" to die... the way man (including me) views wars is usually from a position of ignorance, unless God has revealed his hand.

I was thinking on this topic, why are there wars?

When people decide to fight a war, and they win, what exactly do they win? Are they actually any better off after they win?
what happens to the people who lose?
wouldnt they just feel bad that they lost and decide to gear up to fight ANOTHER war after another couple of years to win back what they lost? So every couple of decades there will be another war on a bigger scale than before and even more devastation?

Who sets up these war games anyway? Isnt war-mongering just another one of Satans tools to keep people fighting and killing each other and dying?

In war, there is no win-win, so even if one side wins, the one that loses has to keep fighting to win the next war anyway. Its not like they are going to get along with each other is it since after fighting against each other they are sworn enemies.
I was trained for war but I don't really understand it.

No, God did not do this
I am saying men make war amongst themselves God doesnt MAKE men fight each other, He just puts an end to it all when Hes sick of all the stupid violence. Men bring it upon themselves, if they live by the sword, they will die by the sword.

Jesus warned everyone about the end in his mount of olives thing about the end time. (end of the temple) to give them ample time to get away before it was physically destroyed. He didnt say the jews had to fight. He told them to flee.

He also said they would hear of wars and rumours of wars, but he never said they were to be INVOLVED in fighting any of those wars. Gods chosen people were not to be involved in any wars because they were meant to be a holy nation and set apart.

God did not create those wars. godless people just did it themselves anyway.

There are the swords of the earth, but then there is The Sword. God wins all wars, glory to him, his Sword is undefeated and famous how it turns, gleaming as it flies across the face of the earth, perfectly accurate, always eating much flesh, and drinking princes' blood. The nations and the four shameful generations have greatly erred. They will know the meaning of the verses about the legendary blade. How it is a polished Sword gleaming, its keen edge makes the nations shiver at its shaking! How when the Lord Jesus sets the Sword's point at the gates of a nation their hearts faint and he multiplies their ruins. The Sword is made bright; it is wrapped up for great slaughter. Look to Ezekiel 21, praise the Sword's bearer, Lord Jesus!

How did the Israelites end up captive in the first place? Were their enemies too strong for God? Or was it because God wanted them conquered for their disobedience?

How do you interpret Luke 20 v9-16?
How do you explain Romans 13?

Do you realize that Jesus is Jehova- the same God that told Israel to eradicate the Canaanites?

You might not like it, but that's how it is.
