There is ample evidence that the Masons USED to be very, very influential.
At one stage, many, if not most, of the British and American leadership were in the 'Craft'.
Politics, the Church, Law, Business, the Military - awash with the buggers.

These days, numbers have dwindled, lodges have closed and few leaders appear involved.
Now I reckon it harbours only a minority of blokes who cherish an excuse to get away from wifey one or two nights a week, dress up in funny gear and sink a few drinkie-poos in like-minded company.

I asked him why he would want to join a secret society that has a history of dark secrets, pagan associations, and hazing, and he could not provide me with a clear answer. I pray for him almost every day. He is such a smart young man with an incredible work ethic. I am assuming they approached him. He doesn't seem to understand that the lower part of the fraternity are men who enter and are kept in the dark from the higher degrees. Do any of you with experience have any advice as to how to deal with this? Thank you very much.
