There is this one person named Spiritual_Plague... and that name makes me think of the bubonic plague in the middle ages, and peasants dying everywhere, and bodies piled up on ox carts.

You know...after some more thought...I have to take that back. There are music related things that I think of. Since learning TheyGaveYouTheirWorst's origin...I will forever hear that part of the song in my head when seeing his name.

zaoman - I think of like someone else said , 'tao,' but since I am a bear of very little brain, I think of the book, 'The Tao of Pooh.' I also think of that survivor guy that won, but his name was yeoman. I also think of 'music' from that name, don't know why I do, but I do.
Oceangirl - California, lives by the ocean. loves the ocean. puts a lot of Ocean (saline)spray in her nose. Just kidding
jilly - I am going to put her in here though she not seen hyde nor hair of lately, same with snackersmom, fair warning She has a name that is fun. Sorry, that's all I got
snackersmom - when I first heard her name, I had no idea, she was a single mom who liked to eat triscuits (and other snacks). 'Course, now I know she made a beautiful boy out of clay, to get to that neat name.
fenner - I think of a former Seattle Seahawks running back, who was great in college at North Carolina, and, was pretty good here but faded away for some reason, injuries or something, I ferget . I also think of a name of a great literature story, not sure which one, but like huckleberry finn but different
ugly -- I think of that song by RadioHead, 'creep,' I think it's called. Ugly is a good guy though, he keeps c.c. in line and keeeps people on-thread, if there was a guy to keep the train from running off the tracks, it would be ugly. It doesn't make sense, but I think of 'ugly betty' too, a show I never watched more than once or twice. The name is just plain odd, that makes it cool too.

Anyway, I just didn't know until I heard in this thread why it was chosen, it's great, I love that idea of Christ's persecution by us. We did give Him our worst, every single one of us did
Arwen -- Just thought it was her first name. No idea. That's the truth. I thought it was more of a boy's name, not trying to be mean but, yeah, it's a name that I have never heard before so I didn't know what to think of it. But, I like her and I like it more, I guess you can say that name's grown on me. I saw 'The Hobbit' a lot of times growing up, I watched the full-length feature movie cartoon of 'Return Of The King,' on RCA Videodisc (that tells you how old I am ) too. I thought it was OK, but I love, love, loved 'The Hobbit' movie. I look forward to part two, I hope their is more story and less fighting. Oops, getting off track, yooo-hooo, ugly, but, yeah, if I went deep into my subconscious, I think 'Arwen' does sound medieval to me.

But, I think of the 'soul' part of the meaning too, she is still searching in her soul for her best life given to Jesus. I guess , maybe, I shouldn't say that. Whenever I see your name, I always think of "GreenEggsNHam". And, because there is always confusion over this, NO, I am NOT in South Korea (yes, I changed my flag--in our info it says "country of origin" so I chose South Korea, but it just confused everyone) but rather, the good old US of A.
The "Seoul" is because this is where I was found and the "searching" part has more to do with searching for who I am and who God made me to be than searching for someone else. Although... if he should come along... that would be cool as well.

A duchess is like a princess, but it's the French version of the word. My actual royalty is mostly French, so that's why dutchess works for me.
