Jesus did not say be water Babtized he said be Babtized, now this was after the resurrection and is after the Pentecost that today we are babtized in the Holly Ghost
It is noit Specific to what type of Babtism and I am led to see that it was not water Babtism rather Holy Ghost Babtism as what happened oin that day of Pentecost, water was added

Who said this? Did Paul say anything about faith? Do you believe in what the scriptures say? This is not an allegory. The Bible says that they "walked on dry", ground was included in the KJV and some other translations. Walked across on dry-- is proper; what does that mean I do not know, but it does not mean ground. What do you think it means?
Paul says "...in the cloud" what is the meaning?

Again I ahve nothinig against water Babtism it is a good conscious towards God, but is used for memebership in all the differant religions when we have been Baptized by one Spirit into one body, by God not by us

Faith, Trust, and I do not get good standing with God no one does, God is in good standing with the ones that believe God.
I have no righteousness of my own ever, and have quit trying to. I do have righteousness though yet it is not miine it is God's. I am just so Elated over what God through Christ has done not only for me but the whole world
Now if I do sin I thank God first and foremost for taking that away as soon as it past before I could get in a prayer position all sin is past and forgiven that fast.
So I then ask God how do I say no to this unrighteousness that I did or even might doin the future.

I only trust God to do in me what i can't do in self. You might want to learn the Context of 1 John.
Sister it was written ot a leader that wrote John on the Island of Patmos about ther heresy that was going on, the place of gathering was divided.
There were Gnostics in this group that did not beleive that Jesus came in the flesh, and since they believed they did not have a sin (carnal) nature since all flesh is evil as scripture states it is, they ddid not see with the exception of Christ's flesh

As a matter of fact there is nowhere in the New Testament after the death and resurrection of Christ that anyone is asked to get forgiveness from God over and over again, please find it for me, in the New Terstament after the death. Any apostle that states to askj for more forgiveness from God after they recieved the forgiveness provided at the cross
And yes we are to forgive one another as Christ Forgave us. So I guess Sister we will only forgive others as much as we thinnk God has Forgiven us? Now since God has forgiven all I forgive all in response to God.
Before the cross we forgave to get forgiven after the cross we forgive because we are forgiven
The same with loving one another. Beforew the cross we loved to get loved and this is still the way of the world. But not with God, we love becasue God first loved us shown by Christ at the cross and the most powerful part is the resurrection

John must decrease because he was the one that prophesied about the one crying in the wilderness, paving the way for the LORD. When he saw JESUS coming to be baptized he even asked JESUS to baptize him instead because John was not even worthy enough to tie the laces of JESUS shoes let alone baptize him, but JESUS told him that this is the way it should be. Then when John was at Aenon his own disciples came to him and told him that the man John identified as the Messiah was also baptizing people and more people were going to that man instead of John. (John 3: 22-36) He told his own disciples that he was happy JESUS was doing good, and that JESUS was the messiah and they should follow HIM instead of John because he was not the "bride-groom" but that JESUS was the "bridegroom". He said that he himself (John) was just the best man. He also said that anyone who does not obey the Son of GOD will not experience heaven.
So when he was talking about decreasing himself he wasn't talking about decreasing his own water baptism mode. NO. Johns baptism was a baptism unto repentance, we don't decrease our repentance. He was talking about decreasing his own ministry because he was only the one paving the way, not the messiah himself.
John wasn't talking about water baptism, he was talking about his ministry in general. Even JESUS's own disciples were baptising

Well, to do with the once saved always saved thing, let me ask, do you sin? If so, have you ceased it completely? If not, then are you not saved or saved? And if you are not saved at some point, how to you become saved again, and what specific type of sin causes you to be unsaved?
