Somewhere here there is thread on "date-ableand non-datable". I read their ideas and left these, as a teaching irony: "Undate-able

SinceI learned what multicultural women considered a man“date-able” I acknowledged myself un-date-able and economicallyundependable.

1)Date-able women are those whose feet are not bigger than 7”... Idon´t like Cinderellas´s siblings and the size of my tent donot match the palace many woman keep dreaming.

2)I have liked the clear idea many had on life matching (dating mayserve the economy of a long lasting marriage). Many Disney´s movieshave modeled my life too, and I know I don´t mind dating someonewhose mouth smells like onion, because I like onions.

undatable.jpg

3)Knowing the importance of a dating budget, I would not date any whohas more than two children. An undependable man cannot pay for4 mouths each date. And I know it´s not easy traveling on a bus thefirst date. It is not roomy enough, and most girls/women don´tlike to pay their bills, but these dependable oneslike their charming men pay for them.

4)It is important to see cheating is similar to lyinggames. Men and women know that kissing is sweet, but a lyingtongue is bitter like onion, and none (but me) would dare to date atongue like that: Lying and cheatingare similar. And those women who like playing those games areundate-able. (Unless they start writing some trustworsthyposts) Ha! Ha!

That poll result actually makes me feel better. I'm not the only one I see. I've been single my whole life. Never been in a relationship and I actually like it. The word relationship kind of freaks me out...somehow.

Interesting question! I think to me singleness is not seeing someone exclusively. Once a friendship moves past a certain point it becomes a relationship and I think from that point I wouldn't call myself single. I wouldn't want any women thinking I was available when I wasn't!

Oh, and single all my life....things might be changing though. I'm hopeful. :D
what is the certain point of which you speak? when a friendship becomes a relationship?

i've only really ever had 2 real boyfriends and one online-ish boyfriend. my first boyfriend was at age 22. and i'm now 27. so i spent many a year single. i will say this. when i am single, i tend to try to find filler friends who act as pseudo boyfriends. not consciously as much as subconsciously. but i find myself acting very girlfriendy with people who are just friends.
i don't know if that counts. but i'm very much single and very much hoping i meet the right one soon before i settle for a wrong one.

several years i have been single and i have been so lonely.

I actually feel like i have never had a real date.

To me being single is when you are not involved romantically with anyone ofcourse it may be something one /both parties agree upon.
If i date i would like to date exclusively and not one after the other lol.

Had cancer and can not have children but should still be able to date and find a true brother and even marry god willing.

I had a couple who have been stalking me and pretty much keeping me as a slave and isolating me.Its a long complicated story and im in court still regarding getting my money, assists, restrainingorder etc as they been isolating me , death threates and other threates, bullying, slandering, setting up, lying, stealing my work , assets and money etc.
They stand in way of my finding a husband.
They suggested once i marry them so i be their slave. I clearly said NO. I do not want anything to do with them and they ruin my life or chance of happiness, love etc with their behaviours.

I tried match.com but it is a very bad site and I'm suprised it got such a good reputation.
Theres no chat, no smileys, no connection and feels like one is isolated there.
Im still on it but can not see it as professional dating site or good one.

Saw a christian site much better with chat, smileys, forums and etc but did not want pay the money once again.
Regret paying $70 for match.com member.

Would love to meet a true man and marry.

Very lonely go to bed alone every night and always alone.
Dont have friends and my fish died.
With a husband one often gets a family to come with him...lol and possibly some nice friends.

Would love start dancing and take dance lessons with partner.

I've been single ever since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline broke up (if their love couldn't last, what hope would there be for the rest of us!!!).

Interesting thread! XD

Well, technically, being single for me is not being married to anyone. If basing on that, i've been single my entire life.

But, in terms of relationship status, i've been single for 10 months since my last romantic relationship. I consider being in a relationship as 2 people who agree to be exclusive for each other, and share intimate affection for each other and no one else. With this said, hm...i believe i've been in a romantic relationship for 10 yrs in my entire life. There was a 5-year relationship with someone, but i couldn't count it as an official one (even though lines were crossed), since he was denying me to death (before chasing after me when i finally gave up). It was more of a one-side love. I seriously regretted that.

Well, moving on XD that's exactly what i'm doing now. And delighting myself in GOD in the process :) i'm not focusing on having a boyfriend and potential husband now. I'm focusing on building friendships. I'm absolutely happy where i am :) i'm just waiting on the LORD to bring me and that wonderful guy together when we're both ready. Really excited to be swept off my feet :) For now, i proudly say 'Yes, i'm single and free!" :D and "GOD is AWESOME!!!"

Dude, you're limiting your chances if you don't even consider dating aliens.
