The question is, can we gain eternal life with God by doing any part of the law.. Or can we lose salvation if we do not do parts of the law..

And again. Can we lose salvation by breaking Gods laws?

So who are the chaff? The people that Jesus will burn up

You either have it or you do not. No one by obeying the law will have a chance at salvation. Paul spent half the NT teaching this, as did others.

The law condemns us, that is ALL it can do. The law written in our heart shows us how to obey commands, That is how pre mosaic people knew what was good and what was bad. The written law condemns us, Because we HAVE NO EXCUSE.

Scripture says only one has fulfilled the law for a reason. No one else has, Or will. Thus ALL are condemned.

That is why Christ came.. to do what the law required. Shed his blood in payment for sin.

Nothing else can save us. Since NO one will ever be good enough to make it to heaven as per the law.. We are ALL under the same boat..

OnLy Christ can save us, To add anything to that is to add to the gospel. Which as paul warned, is another gospel. and WILL NOT SAVE YOU!

We Christians were actually givin many warnings about the bad guys and what they would do. The warnings are all around the new testament.

Well, I found all these warnings from the new testament in one scripture. The Day of the Lord scriptures are so great. Since “that day” has not yet arrived no one can claim that the scripture is for ancient Israel and does not apply to christians. Day of the Lord scriptures do apply to christians (those who believe that Jesus came) and these scriptures will come to pass. To see what these ROARING LIONS and RAVENOUS WOLVES have done, simply read and believe the Word.

Wall, I hope you will try to understand. The law itself cannot save us, I have met christians who follow the law very closely but do not know God at all. They had no love in them, they condemned others because they felt it was their calling by God to show everyone how sinful they were. If our main focus for our faith is following the law eventually we may lose sight of God himself. Following the law is great, but seeking the lord is greater. In my short time of faith I have sought after the lord above all else, I tried to follow the law but saw no matter how hard I tried I could never fully obey them, so I told God to teach me and show me the way to live a righteous life in his eyes. And knew that if I wasn't the kind of person the lord seeks I eventually would be. The law isn't the key to salvation, otherwise Jesus' sacrifice would not have been needed.

Faith ! So much said, isn't there, in that little tiny five-letter word that Cain trusted in by telling God 'my punishment is too great,' that Abraham trusted in, we all know THAT story, with Isaac, that Hannah trusted in God--even a promise made by her ('God , I will give you my child if my barrenness...')--and Samuel born, miraculously, and, that is just a smidgeon of the power of faith fruits out there in Scripture, that include , too, the power of our being saved , by grace, THROUGH FAITH

I know that Blain. Ive known that from the beginning. We are saved by grace through faith. Not the works of the law. No one but Jesus has kept the law perfectly. It is a free gift. Now is this free gift given to the likes david Koresh {a believer}. Jim Jones {the Kool-Aid kid}. Hitler? Who wanted to be a priest in his early days. I think not.
