My style doesn't have much style. Hey, I took this one in the panda thing I was talking about. I think it's near that record store. I can't remember where exactly. I just remember going over by china town and there were some markets and a lot of tattoo shops and little markets and then this one bomb record store. I know it's been closed down since though. matt panda resized.jpg

If you don't mind, I'm going to recommend your photo be used on the cover of Toronto's official Travel and Vacation magazine to encourage tourism to our city!!!

By the way, did you notice that the Panda's are actually pad-locked so no one would steal them? That is just how crazy we Torontonians are - we would actually steal card-board cut outs of panda bears!!!

Yeah Arwen, I'm a Torontonian - born and bred (just like a Canadian Mountie Horse).

Are we pretentious and rude??? Only when we are asked to choose Tim Horton's over Starbucks (then we get really stuck up and nasty!!!).
I would fit right in!

The first time I visited I thought that all your police road horses. Then I saw this spot roped off where they had just had a shooting at a bank. There were all these high tech police cars there. My friends laughed at me when I explained my surprise. I had never been outside of California.

In all honesty, our police do actually ride horses still. And although I don't live in downtown Toronto (I'm in a suburb of Toronto) on a nearby trail where I bike there are often police down there usually riding mountain bikes, but once in a while they'll be riding massive horses!!!

I guess horses like nature trails too!!!

Yeah, I think it's cool. I just have to laugh at my own ignorance. People were actually really friendly there. At least to my face. lol. I was at some little bar named Rivoli's and or Ravoli's...can't remember exactly. Anyway however odd my style is people pick up on it and know i'm into punk so I had all kinds of random people hitting me up. Apparently I missed the Crass while I was up there and some guy just walked up to me and starting talking about how awesome it was. At the time I was all about that so we had a long conversation about it. I didn't have any bad experiences though.

Speakers Corner - wow, I haven't heard that phrase in a couple of years (I don't think it is still in operation). But no, I was never on it. Even if I attempted to go it, I wouldn't know what to say. I'd probably say something silly like - "Since Canada doesn't have cable tv yet, who is actually going to be watching this???"

Regarding Much Music, I actually haven't even been passed the building yet. I will wait until Beiber visits again, then I'll go for the first time!!!

Nope. After all my years of experiencing Americans asking me questions about Canada, I figured it was genuine lol.

On behalf of America let me apologize for our public school system.

Although I've never been to a Tim Horton's, I'm pretty sure I'd take it over Starbucks. Donuts versus overpriced, tarted-up slices of pound cake is kind of a no-brainer to me. The coffee is less of an issue, even though I'm picky about that, too.

All this talk of carbs is making my mouth water.

They put a Starbucks in our Target here. I can't stand the smell of Starbucks, now I can't stand the smell of Target either.

Luckily, I don't drink coffee at all, so I don't have to choose between Starbucks and Tim Horton's - I just drink the polluted water out of Lake Ontario (maybe that explains the third eye in my forehead and the tail growing out of my backside!!!).

You think Torontoians are nice, my car got broken into when I was at my parents at the lake (and by 'broken into' I mean I didn't lock my doors lol). They didn't take my stereo, any of my clothes, even left my credit card statement on the seat. They just looked for money on my dashboard and left my car light on. Friendly Manitoba! Though if it happened in Winnipeg, I would have checked my trunk for a body :s

Fenner, please "DO NOT" get me started on Caillou.

That kid is so irritating, I'm tempted to get a vasectomy just so I won't have a chance of reproducing a child like him!!!

But he's just a kids who's four. Each day he grows some more, he's Caillou.

Arwen, the reason your car wasn't stolen was because people in Manitoba don't know what a car is - they still drive dog-powered sleds!!!
