I have looked all over the internet & only came across one posts where someone mentioned JPB was studying Kabbalah & Judaism,but he still claims to be a christian. The n one other thing where on his site there's something about fav movies & he was quoted as saying "does porn count?" as a joke. I dunno...I did read where he said he was working in Vegas but moved back to Louisiana because he didn't want his kids growing up around the Vegas lifestyle. I dunno..strange. He definitely seems a bit upset with the church & has now for a long time.

I wonder if that's the thread that was removed? I saw something that had a link,but it had been taken down. maybe that was it. I'm just interested. I have no idea why,but I get irritated when people who once professed their faith in Jesus so openly for so long suddenly seem to fall away & I sit & wonder why because they rarely discuss it,or no interviewer bothers to ask them.

Maybe. The forum had a section just for Jimmy, a sticky, so he could go in any time he wanted and people could find his posts easily. But the site had to move to a new server, or something, new hosting or whatever. So i think they lost all the old stuff.
Yeah, from what i understand he was pretty open about it, though. But he's been this way a long time now. You can see it in his old albums, even. Like 'As above, so below' or something like that. That is a Cabbalist statement. Or often an occult statement, for that matter. So i guess he didn't hide it in his music, but by that time, i had lost interest in the band, so i didn't really hear it by that time. I'd actually not been too interested in them since What A Joke, and only half that CD was good. The next few were OK. I listen to them once in a while. River Disturbance, Camelot In Smithereens, Stay Of Execution. That stuff. Was never into the Fear Symmetry or Jupiter 3 stuff either.

totally derailing you guys, but just curious if anyone else is super-stoked for the new extol album. The 'Open the Gates' single was definitely a little weird, and then I heard this one...

Dave's opening drum line sounds wicked, love Ole's leads, and Peter has that pristine scream he carried on Undeceived. All together it really leaves me wondering what the new album will sound like, but I can't wait.
