Im glas you admit that the bible is faulty
That is not what I said emotions get in the way of truth, yet Iknow there are mistakes written in the translations of the Bible. The only truth is God, whom christ revealed and stood to the end for all of us, if only one wouldf beleive, then they would see, and recieve God just love all. Nothing can seperate us from God's love. Does unbelief amke God's love void nah!!!!!!!!
Stinking thinking and the harming of others creates emotions of discord and even other tragedies that just happen. Been there am there and might be there again, learning to live above my circumstances. My opinion on Atheism
There are no atheist's in a fox hole

Can you see the air that you breath? but it is real
2 Corinthians 4:18while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
If i really wanted to, i could.

If you really wanted to see your god, you can't. Thats the difference.

So how can you trust anything in the bible if you know there are wrong translations?

Atheism are just lost sheeps, waiting to be found. Albert Einstein was atheism turned to christen, Admitting that a human has a soul and proven that with his notes:

One of most basic laws of science is the Law of the Conservation of Energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another.

Energy is not currently being created. The universe could not have created itself using natural processes because nature did not exist before the universe came into existence. Something beyond nature must have created all the energy and matter that is observed today. Present measures of energy are immeasurably enormous, indicating a power source so great that "infinite" is the best word we have to describe it.

The logical conclusion is that our supernatural Creator with infinite power created the universe. There is no energy source capable to originate what we observe today.
Un, theres too much wrong.

1) energy not being able to be destroyed firstly does not mean that there was a set amount of energy for all eternity. If don't know what enteopy is, i understand your confusion. Entropy is the thing that once every proton, electon and neutron reach maximum entropy, it's gone. This includes energy. So even though we can't destroy energy, it will be gone one day.

2) the universe came into existance from an infinitely small singularity that rapidly expanded and explains why the universe is still expanding today at an accelerating rate. The universe is known to be created with an absolute 0 energy, which i can explain for you if you don't know why, but it's lengthy.

3) we have measured energy in many different forms: electrical, kinetic, heat, etc. we know all form of energy an how to measure them. So your statement of energy being infinite i wrong.

4) like i said, an absolute 0 amount of energy is needed for the universe to come into existance. Even if it didn't, in no way can you logically conclude of a super natural being, and even worse, you can't prove it's the christian one.

Your makin one huge arguement from ignorance because since you don't understand it, it therefore must be a god outside the physical realm. This is not how we make logical conclusion.

Please do your research next time. You very clearly did not

I think atheists can be extremely rude and I'm saying that from experience of speaking with them. They are unwilling to hear the truth and try to debate you even if you didn't initiate a debate. When one chooses not to worship God , they are then becoming a self worshipper. It's next to impossible to go on YouTube and mention Jesus name cause the atheists come out and hit you hard with all this science theories and philosophy talk. It's frustrating and all you wanna do is hugg them through your computer and say its ok God loves you. :)

It seems there are a lot of blanket statements made on this post... I've met atheists who are both honest, polite, and genuinely seeking answers and those who have been hurt by people in the church and have a lot of anger.

Atheists don't seem to me to be much different than many Christians in a way; both sides believe they are correct, both sides passionately defend their position, and both sometimes have trouble seeing the whole picture.

Jesus taught us in the Sermon of the Mount to take the plank out of our own eye before we can see clearly to remove the speck from our brother's eye. Well, in answering anyone, we must first try and assume that we have planks in our eye that must be removed before opposing someone else. Both Christians and atheists need to learn this teaching and understanding, because dare I say it, Christians too can sometimes get in the way of the work of Christ in the world.

Well there's just as many rude as nice, for essentially every category or classification we may fall into. I don't think there's many people who think tht they're wrong... what I think is more likelihood, then "I am right you are wrong" logic.

I was reading a quote from Pastor Greg Laurie the other day that said:
No one has ever marched across the human stage quite like Jesus Christ. He stands apart from all others. Even today we mark human time from the date of His appearance on this planet. His very name ripples with power. If you don't believe me, just say it sometime. When you're in a crowded room and people are talking, say the names of various religious leaders, gurus, or prophets-probably, you'll get little or no response. But say the name Jesus, and you will get a reaction. A hush will fall over the room. Even an atheist who says there is no God will use Jesus' name to punctuate a point or to utter profanity. Why? Because even nonbelievers know there is power in the name Jesus. Jesus is the name above all names, and that amazing name has power above all others.

U just said u don't care about all that sciency stuff and i dont have a problem with that, but when you admit your beliefs, baseless as it is, is unchangeable, then you become closed minded.

I din't mean to say ignorant of facts, more like ignorant to different points of view

It sounds like your teacher was very wise. Am I correct to infer from your statement he was a philosopher?

I think it is unfair to presume, as depicted in the video attached to your comment, that because there has been misrepresentation of the Christian faith, by individuals who claim they want to kill Atheists, that Christians hate all who oppose their beliefs. This leads to what is known as a Fundamental Attribution Error. You falsely believe that because one is a Christian that, they somehow feel as though all who are skeptic of the existence of God, are egotistical, murderous fundamentalists. If you would care to discuss why it is you disagree with one's faith in God, that is one thing. Yet slandering the religious, as you did with the presentation of such a video, is indecorous in nature. I don't condemn you because you are skeptical of my God, nor do I want for physical harm to befall you; in fact, I pray for you and hope that you will someday receive the grace of Jesus Christ! But please, present your arguments in a fashion that is not contrary to your own morals; with civility and respect to one's beliefs.

I don't believe in a god, I don't know 100% that there isn't one. If you don't believe in Baal does that make Baal true? Cheers.
I once knew of a dislexic Atheist, who said there is no dog.
Now okay you do not believe this is okay, you have free choice as we all do.
Once I heard this that in all the world here and now from theday Iwas born until the time I die can I know 100% of everything there is to know?
I ofcoarse said well no not 100%. My brother then said out of all there is to know could you at least know 10% by the time I die? I said yeah I guess, and my brother said well you are intellegent solets give you 30% of all there is to know by the time I die, is that fair? I said Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! more than fair.
That is when he said out of the other 70% left can there not be a creator of all this that you see known as God revealed to us by Christ's walk here on earth his Mercy played out to us while we were all unworthy because somewhere along the path we have harmed others, not loving them as we all have the right or not the right to be here no one is better than the other.
And he walked away, today I leave tis with you to decide for you what is.

If i really wanted to, i could.

If you really wanted to see your god, you can't. Thats the difference.
I don't need to see God, I do not need tangible evidence, (as Thomas did) nor can I explain it
Believe, see, recieve is the best way to put this, I just know
not for arrogance sake, humbly thankful, God did what God did for us
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

there is no changing this, adding to or taking away it is what it is. The Terstament is here and it is up to each to either beleive or not believe, That is the only choice left after the cross where he first died and took away the sin of the world and then rose to give us new life in the Spirit of God, through believing God, and thus are free to Love as God loves not as this world does, that only loves those that love them
