Twins tend to run in my family, so there's a chance I'll end up with twins. I think it would be fun to have twin boys.

I picked four for this poll, but 3 or 4 would be good.

I'm not sure I agree with your link completely. Most European and North American nations are actually below replenishment levels. Replenishment levels for a given population are about 2.5 children per woman, on average. Yes, the amount of humans on the Earth is pretty large, but this is the one time in history where the elderly have outnumbered the young, and the median age is higher than it's ever been.

Or to quote Gandhi, "There is enough for everyone's need, but not everyone's greed."

God's first command, ever, was to be fruitful and multiply. I don't think he was kidding.

Alright here's a question for all you women planning to reproduce........what if you found the perfect man, but he was infertile?

Would you settle for a lesser man in order to satisfy your desire to have babies?

ABSOLUTELY!!
Why would that be an issue if you loved someone anyway? I have a friend who had leukemia as a teen, he is infertile... but now has a beautiful wife and two gorgeous (adopted) sons!! Who cares as long as you are with the one you love....imo

Infertile is NOT a lesser man at all, in my mind.

And it's not an absolute.

My father was told he and my mother would not have kids (so they adopted me and then my brother), and then... surprise!! They wound up with my youngest brother.

God can enable a man to be a good father NO MATTER what his biological reproduction status may be (same for mothers, as the doctors say I'll have a harder time than most getting pregnant), and that's what truly counts.

A God-fearing man who lives his live according to his beliefs and was willing to follow God's will with all his heart... down the biological path or not... would be the ultimate catch, "fertile" or not.

The only place of fertility that matters is the heart.

I have always held to I will have as many kids as God gives me.
One thing that has always bugged me though is that there are familys I have know that have 10 12 kids. Now that is great and wonderful but really how many is to many? I don't want to judge how many kids they have is their business but when you have so many kids that you can barely afford them and dad has to work all the time to make ends meet. Mom only seems to have time to commit to the younger ones and the older fend for them selves which makes more issues. There may be some mother out there who can handle all that very well but not from my experience.
I don't know I think after 6 you need to consider weather you can really commit this time to them especially 6 under 10 years old.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Kim. I also do not consider it "settling", especially if the man is "perfect" in every way. As you said, just because a doctor makes a diagnosis doesn't mean that God can't trump the doctor, and allow it to happen. If Abraham and Sarah can have a baby in their 90's, anything is possible with God. But again, even if having your own biological children doesn't happen, there are many children in the world in need of good homes.

A God-fearing man who lives his live according to his beliefs and was willing to follow God's will with all his heart... down the biological path or not... would be the ultimate catch, "fertile" or not.

Amen!

Nope, I would still marry him and we'd adopt, or do something else with our lives.
