Well about the trusting guys I think that comes from the fact of my dad abandoning me and my brother abanodoning us...and raping me...Along with everthing I've seen of other men around me and pretty much all of them leaving their wife for someone else. My step dad says I probably will not be able to trust guys again untill I can forgive my biological father and brother. I'm working on that...but I just do not understand why that effects the physical side of things!

Hi VictagaNOC94 ! This is a very sensitive problem you have ! And I feel very concerned because I can relate to some parts of your indescribable sufferings. I am a survivor as well, I didn't grew up with my biological father, and my biological mother was very cruel with me, my step father did nothing to protect me and even participated to the cruelty I endured from my biological mother. Now there's something very important I need to talk about, it's the perverted will from many to silence the survivors by implicitly telling them it's wrong to be angry about the great injustice they suffered, it's wrong to hate the child beaters and we must always have the " peace and love " attitude for hate is always unhealthy at the eyes of many ! I hate so much that " peace and love " attitude ! It's very unhealthy to deny the survivors to right to express their great anger for the sake of that twisted and hippie like " peace and love * attitude !
I totally disagree with your step-father ! Why Jesus would ask us to do what Himself would never do with Satan and His demons ? There is no such thing as a God who never ever hate and would be a kind of disgusting hippie like " peace and love " God ! There is no love without hate ! It's a great lie to say the contrary !
It's a fact : Jesus hates Satan and all his spawns ! And so do I ! I was so astonished to learn many people find it unhealthy to hate satan and they go so far as to say they love satan !
My sister, please allow yourself to express your deep anger accumulated for years against awful "men" and you will find your true identity ! Allow yourself to hate as much as you feel that demon who raped you as a child ! That would make you overcome your identity struggle ! And after that you would be able to make the difference between true men and demons and you will begin to love true men and hate demons !

Now I put my special armor for I guess many people here would say hate is always unhealthy and it's always wrong to hate for they think the Lord never hates and always love !

Let's be clear ! A shepherd loves lost sheep and will do anything to save them ! Ponce Pilate was one of them for once !
Now a shepherd cannot love a wolf in sheep's clothing ! Judas Iscariot was one of them for once ! For Jesus called him a demon ! And Jesus does not love Satan ! This is fact ! Indeed Jesus said He has nothing in the enemy !

You could say I look very angry ! Yes I am ! I saw a documentary about the vatican trying at all costs to silence the survivors and blaming them if they begin to talk and express their great anger by saying they must " forgive " and " love " the perverted priests because the Lord forgive and love all people and it's always wrong to not forgive and hate those perverted priests !

But what is written about demons like this ? Jesus has the last word about it :

Thank you for being so open and sharing your struggles on this forum. Let me start by saying that I think your determination to obey the Lord and seek good Christian counsel is absolutely incredible! You are most definitely on the right track. We live in an age where the rest of the world would question why you're struggling so much and just tell you to embrace these homosexual tendencies, and yet here you are, holding firm to your understanding of scripture and your understanding of what God wants for your life. I just want to encourage you to never abandon that attitude.

To be honest, I can't quite come up with a practical solution for helping you to become attracted to males. However, I encourage you to continue resisting sexual attraction to females. I've actually struggled with this, too, but you know what? Everyone has their own struggles. For some it is alcoholic tendencies. For some it is drugs. For some, it is lust. The list goes on.

Sometimes we can't stop inappropriate thoughts from entering our minds, but we don't have to let them stay there. A few years ago I started forming a habit of chasing away thoughts. For example, if a thought popped up in my mind that I knew should not be there, whether it be lustful, hateful, etc., I would literally "chase it away". Sometimes it was as easy as forcing myself to think about something else, sometimes I would simply go engage myself in a different activity, and sometimes I had no other choice but to say a little prayer and ask The Holy Spirit Himself to send away those thoughts. He never failed me. It's a tough battle at times, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Also, I recommend that you stop using porn as a method to develop attraction to males, especially if you're trying to resist attraction to females. It will just make it more difficult for you to stop thinking lustfully about women.

I don't have all the answers, but know that I am praying for you, and I'm rooting for you. You're on the right track, and if you ever need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to PM me. God bless!

It also isn't a coincidence that twins if one is homosexual, even if separated the other twin will have a high chance of being homosexual as well. This isn't a choice, at least it isnt for some people. I'm 100% positive I'll get at least several angry replies from this but the bible has some great moral values and some not so great ones, like burning witches in the old testament. I think if there was a god he would care more about you helping others rather than what attraction you feel inside as long as you harm no one.

Yeah I heard about a study that applied only to male homosexuality, that showed that boys with multiple brothers were more likely to be gay. The explanation was that the mother's immune system battle's the boys a bit ?maybe?... and that after each boy her immune system became more experienced at it. Feminising! the boy, that's it. Hormonal systems rather than immune perhaps.

Ok...When I was like 3 I started feeling attracted to other girls. And When I was ten was when I realized what that meant! For the longest time I liked both guys and girls, but as I headed into my teen years my interest and TRUST in men has slowly vanished! I am now 18 and just cannot seem to find myself interested in a relationship with a guy. Even the guys I can tell are hot...I just do not react to them physically! (even the stars I've obsessed over for the past five years has turned from crushes to mere admiration of their talents.) I've been trying the last month to force my interests on guys using as many means possible...porn involving nice looking guys, trying hard to make my body react to the guys at my church, trying to have romantic fantasies about guys....but it just does not work! I always end up noticing a girl that does make my body react! I hold strong to Romans 8 37-39 for comfort, I do not want my body to cause me to lose out on God and what he has for me! I was wondering if anyone else on here is struggling with the same thing! This is a bit personal yeah....but I need some friends that are going through similar situations or at least have gone through it! Maybe ideas on how I can gain a physical and emotional interest in guys! I know what the bible says...i'VE PRAYED...I'm trying....but failing! Does not help I suppose that I'm hoplessly inlove with my female best friend! I just need HELP!!!

there is actually something called the Spirit of homosexuality .. you may have it. Lots of the Lords people get spirits its nothing to be ashamed of.. there is also the spirit of depression and so on.. just say...i rebuke the spirit of homosexuality in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ!!! by saying that it has no choice but to leave your flesh..

I just read this! It moved me to you and almost shed tears. I hope you remember my PM... I cannot blame my mother or my father for those things I have seen. Some have suffered these painful experiences and I won´t blame my life for not achieving what I have dreamed of or liked. I wish I had you for neighbor to tell you my personal things to encourage you, but don´t give up.
