@Tintin I apologize to you for engaging in this. I can be pretty defensive of woeful ignorance and particularly defensive of lying and hypocrisy. Elizabeth's deliberate misportrayal of her view was enough to set me over the edge, and megaman's defense of her actions wasn't helping matters. But I would like to say I'm not here to cause division, I just get upset when people try to deceive others and then are insincere. I will try to control myself better and not engage with the trolls.

With all due respect, it's none of your business. Now please leave it alone. I will not apologize to Elizabeth because she got exactly what she wanted, a rise out of me and the other believer in Evolution. I'm sorry for being duped by her, but I see no need to apologize.
Actually it's best no one picks on him. The constant behavior of obsessing over one post where the conversation goes on for pages even after others have tried to change the topic shows that he isn't capable of certain types of communication or relating to others.
We have tried to end this. I've apologized but he continues to "act out" and show a lack of empathy toward others and their feelings.
His inability to understand why others see the "wrong" in his actions also tells me we need to leave him alone.
I'm not trying to be ugly or make fun but we all need to back off. He can't relate to others like most do.
I actually feel bad. Had I know this earlier I never would have responded.

Yeah Danschance, how dare you ask him to apologize for blatently mocking and insulting in every post he makes. Clearly the best and most noble posters are the ones who mock and ridicule others. It's like you're asking him to apologize for doing the right thing and having the right attitude.
I do apologize for your thread getting so insane. That honestly wasn't my intent. My intention was to test to see the sincerity of certain people here. I wanted to know the motive behind it.

Let's not be angry with him. He lacks proper upbringing or something. We should overlook his antisocial, aggressive, insulting, chauvinistic, misogynistic, anti-oedipus, bombastic and narcissistic behavior. All we can do is pray for him, forgive him and hope he learns to not hate women. I know there is a tiny speck of decency in us all. I would not be a bit surprised if he apologized for his behaviour.

I think getting someone else to do the right (or politically correct) thing doesn't sink well if we're perceived to be interested in mocking them.
He is actually an extremely intelligent guy. Unfortunately intelligence has its downfalls. Many cannot relate to others according to the norm. It's not their fault. They're just wired differently I guess.
I'm not a fan of being politically correct for the most part. It's a pain

One can't expect to be treated better than they have treated others. Why is a simple apology to Ms. Elizabeth so difficult? I know he can do it. Then we can all move on.

More sarcasm than anger. I tend to get that way after an overload of illogical...ness. If there's anything I'm angry about, it's how the mods allow trolls to run rampant for so long. I really wish I could get into the other Christian Chat room I frequent, but for some reason I can't. (It has something to do with my internet connection, other people can still get into it, and what's even more wierd is that I can still get into other chat rooms that are hosted by the same site.)
