Why didn't you just say from the beginning that you don't believe Paul?
It would have been so much easier for everyone to see where you are coming from...
Now where on earth have you determined I do not believe Paul? The teachings above are from Paul about revering one day over another. Your ability to confront is monumental. Nothing posted is against holy scipture, not about being a commandment, not about not being a commandment, and again, not about a clear conscience in the sight of Yahweh in revering one day over another.

the click like feature should be ignored if it is being interpreted as some sort of back-handed don't-like-previous-poster-click thing.

Why does this text say 'he that has the commandments'? Is it saying that we are given the commandments and keep them. So then keeping the commandments is not just about God saying obey or else but, He is giving us the commandments and we keep them. How are we given the commandments? Why do we have to complicate things so much? Jesus made it so simple,if the sum and total of all the law and the prophets can be stated thus The first Love the Lord your God with all your heart,mind soul and strength and then the second to love your neighbor as yourself,shouldn't we get to the point of understanding that love IS at the heart of obeying the law? If we love God as we should we won't take His name in vain,He will be first in our lives,we won't have idols in our lives etc,and if we love our neighbors as we should we will honor our father and mother,not steal,murder,etc It's not rocket science. Love is the heart of obedience to the commandments.

Hmmm, they surely do, Christ said to do this and the first response from most is "Don't tell me what to do!"
I was talking to a lady the other day and she said that she would have problems discussing religion with me because I held the Mosaic law in high regard. The church she attends has a way around the law as she continued to talk with me. Evidently their belief is that there are only 9 commandments they need to follow now because Christ Jesus is Lord of all. The commandment they dropped is the 1st one as I understand it.
4 Characteristics that Identify the saints can be seen in the following scriptures:
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12)
"And they [the saints] overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:11)
So, we see that the Saints will do 4 things:
1. Keeping the Commandments
2.Trusting the Blood of the Lamb
3.Sharing their faith with others
4. choosing to DIE rather than to sin.
These are the true marks of the person who is in love with Christ and who has made a life commitment to follow Him!
If Commandment keeping is not important,, then I suppose having the Mark of the Beast is no big deal either.

This word really argues against it meaning a weekly sabbath because 1) it is derived from G4521, the normal word used for a weekly sabbath, and 2) it is only used once in the entire bible (Hebrews 4:9), which indicates it has a special meaning.
