mine started early on, and amazingly being brought up in Church, never heard the word to be saved not in clarity.
But God is faithful and showed me early, even though I went my own way for years and learned a lot about what is not good and what is good for me.
My true growth started when I heard a man on the radio stating that all sins by God are forgiven back at the cross. Now I turned this station off in disgust, yet was urged to keep turning it back on.
So I called and said how can this be, we are to get more forgiveness if we sin again from God we are to ask for more.
That is when this man said back to me, I challenge you to go anywhere in the New Testament, after Christ's death and find anywhere that the Bible states we are to get more forgiveness after the death of Christ on the cross?
I immediately went to 1John 1:9, and I was asked where does it say to do what you agree with about Christ did come here in the flesh and that I , you and all others besides Christ were born with a flesh nature that sins is selfish.
And asked do you, (to me) believe that Christ came in the flesh, and that you (to me) have a propensity for selfishness, and have sinned against others because of this selfishness? I said yes.
So then I was said God has forgiven you this action from God it took place one time back at the death of Christ at the cross. Christ being the propitiation for all sins, and is our intercessor forever even if we do sin again.
So I went through out the entire word in all translations looking fro anyone in there to say that forgiveness from God is an ongoing event if one sins again after they believed God in God's amazing grace of total forgiveness.
I have not found this anywhere, anyone else?
So I concluded by God I am forgiven period, and I also concluded that this forgiveness is so amazing, that what about anyone that would take this for granted and use it for an occasion to use it for their flesh as one uses drinking for an excuse of their bad behavior. That is when I saw this below:
Hebrews 2:3 how shall we
escape if we
neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard
Him,
So in reverent fear to God the creator of all, I said Lord teach me truth, that sets me free, and not to take advantage of this amazing gift of love you have poured out onto this world.
And God has and is continuously teaching me, and all that will believe as God knows who do and who do not. Truth is not given by God to anyone with malice of any kind in , mind
