I wonder what the world would be like if all of the shy/awkward people of the world could suddenly be the same in person as they are able to be online. o_o Crazy thought.

Yeah, age thing aside, I'm pretty sure she's way out of my league. ^_^
Ah, leagues. Things that don't exist but yet they also do.

I signed up for CM a while back, just to see what's out there. There were many profiles that I just exited almost immediately because I thought, "Phew. There's no way, they are so outta my league." And while I still think that (and there's someone I'm chatting with right now that I think is a bit out of my league), it makes me realize that that's a bit unfair to them for me to just write them off like that, and write myself off like that, because who knows? Not saying you're doing that, I'm just saying I understand, I guess.

I'm "officially" putting my vote of confidence in for you, Shour. I sorta already did, but now it's official. :D

I think it is fantastic when I hear that someone has stopped smoking or is trying!!! :) I have had asthma all of my life and it stinks, so....to be honest...it has always kinda bugged me to see people who were blessed with healthy lungs stick something in their face and light it on fire. It's like someone in a wheelchair watching an able-bodied person willingly cut their legs off for no reason. Doesn't compute.

just got the evil eye from daughter #2. I peeked/interrupted her piano lesson to see if it was her or the teacher playing, since I heard all this expression that I've never heard from her. It was my daughter - she's gotten so good! :)
She's gonna talk to ke about not interrupting her lesson on the way home, I can tell -- I'll gently remind her who pays for the lessons, then rabe about how good she sounded. She will get over it soon.

Great! Please, don't let her quit, especially if she is that good. Music is something no one can ever take from her. :)

How old is she?

I finally finished The Chronicles of Narnia series. I read for about an hour and a half and finished the last book. You know it's a good book when you are completely zoned out of your world and are fully submersed in the one you're reading.

I love it when that happens :)

This is my 16 y.o.

...and no drama coming home. In fact, both she and her 11 y.o. sister offered to help while I was making dinner. They set the table.

I am wondering who abducted them and replaced them with Stepford children.

Interesting goings-on in the work place.

RAWR! WHY DO I OPEN MY MOUTH?!?!

Very interesting indeed! And you opened your mouth because somewhere in the Asian recesses of your brain, you were hoping that Bianca and whomever else would hook you up.

Yuh huh!

If you wanted to keep it a secret, you wouldn't have said anything to anyone. You're far from stupid, Sho. And don't start that nonsense about men being dumb. You may not have been aware of it, but you wouldn't have mildly stared at the woman or the like if some part of you didn't want to.

Yay for you! Keep us informed, okay?

Shouryu, I'm not even a girl and I'm excited to see what happens with you and this girl.
We often talk ourselves down because we're intimidated and feel a lack of self worth, but you already know that. Remember in God's eyes we're all equal. No one is better than anyone else. No one is out of anyone's league - for better or worse. I'm learning to be more confident in Christ, so I know what it feels like (minus the girl thing). Go for it son! (as Rachel has already said)

Rachel, excellent! Is that the first time you've read the Narnia Chronicles? They were a staple for me in my childhood and helped me (along with Tintin) in learning to love reading. Great books. Simple, easy to read but they have so much depth. Glad you enjoyed reading them.

This is my second time. The first time was a looong time ago (I can't even remember when, maybe late elementary school?), I'm pretty sure I read them out of order, and I didn't understand the depth in them. Reading them this second time around was...wow. I wrote quite a few things down. :)

Awewsome! I love hearing about other people's experiences. They're one of my absolute favourites. I've read them all upwards of eight times.

Oh, I took some great lessons away from those books! :)

As a side note, here I am on my laptop at the kitchen table. My kitten was laying at the other end and wanted to be by me, so instead of going around my laptop on the giant area of table that my laptop is NOT occupying, she walks ACROSS my keyboard.

Cats.
