So what if they did?

I wonder why you look outside the Word for answers. All the answers are in the Word. You could be listening to one of many antichrists and not even realize it.
2 COR. 11 [13] For such are FALSE APOSTLES, deceitful workers, TRANSFORMING THEMSELVES INTO THE APOSTLES OF CHRIST. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
It would seem to be very dangerous to trust your salvation to the various religious leaders or to take hold to the doctrines of these men. They might appear to be ministers of righteousness but they are not.

Still this Sunday or Saturday crap. What do you do on Monday, Or is Saturday hangover day. Most would prefer Saturday over Sunday, especially in the fall, because that is NFL day. To heck with God the Patriots are playing. I'll get to Him later, He knows my heart. Yes He does. I wonder, How many of you attend Sunday night service, if your church even has a Sunday night service, most don't nowadays. Heck I spent the morning with Him and now Football is own, My friends are coming over the cooler is stocked, we gonna have a good time.

The fact of the matter is, God told us in His commandments to keep the sabbath as instructed. Jesus reinforced that by saying "if you love Me, keep My commandments." All this arguing over whether it's a spiritual rest or a physical rest of whatever means nothing. Only Christ's instructions as given to us mean anything. That's all we should be paying attention to or discussing here. Not our personal opinions.

Then you are may have an issue with intelligence. The Judaizers were the ones who wanted to spin the clock back to the way it was. They did not embrace change and even opposed it. They wanted all the gentiles to be circumcised after it had been repealed.
Sure, if you want to be an old stick in the mud, by all means be a judaizer, resist the change that comes from the Holy Spirit.

As the Papacy grew in power, it opposed the Seventh day Sabbath in favour of Sunday sacredness. All historical records show The Catholic Church made the day change official in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 363-364). Read did Constantine change the Sabbath to find what role he played. The Council of Laodicea around A.D. 364 decreed 59 Canon laws. Here is the final law instituted by the Papal Church.
Canon XXIX: “Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.” (Percival Translation).
So the word Judaize came from Catholicism forcing upon Christians Sunday worship as apposed to keeping the 7th day Sabbath as ordained by God Himself. In other words, the Catholic church stood in the place of God and called itself God. Sound familiar?
