I love God and think highly of what He did for me by freeing me from the wages of sin enough to correct the sort of nonsense being propagated to the contrary in this thread by people like yourself.

You're just wasting your time in throwing darts you poison at me. It's obvious for all to see this is just a personal attack by you which speak to flaws in your own character not mine. Pull the log out of your own eye and then you'll be able to see clearly.

And my second to my last post refuted your false assertion before you even copied and pasted it.

I can see that you love yourself and think highly of your own opinions

Under the Levitical Priesthood, there were a number of animals that were considered clean or unclean to eat. Peter, Paul, and the rest of the Apostles were probably very familiar with all of the Dietary laws under the old covenant. Jesus is a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek so it's unlikely in my opinion that the vision had anything to do with actual food.
Really? I'm surprised at that for some reason. I assumed you believed it did have to do with the food aspect. Honestly, why do you feel sure about that? Again, I waffle on that one.

I'm using the ignore button Laodicea. I feel I can't have a constructive study otherwise (not to mention anybody else). I'm too spiritually immature in my reactions to people's comments I feel are just plain malicious, inappropriate, dishonest, or just plain useless. I'm sure everyone will like it better if I do this. Otherwise, I too often end up tearing into people I think are totally out of line. Obviously, that gets us off topic, not to mention it gives no glory to God. K?

I'm also trying to learn from good examples like a few of the individuals I've seen in this forum, such as you, Laodicea. We're supposed to focus on "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; those things that have virtue and are worthy of praise." I'm trying to grow in the Lord, not go backwards.

This topic has been side tracked into talking about other things than what the topic is about

Revelation 14:9-12 KJV

(9) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
(10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
(11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
(12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

It is clear from these verses that those who keep the commandments of God will not receive the mark of the beast as seen in these texts, so what are the commandments of God?

Exodus 31:18 KJV
(18) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Revelation 11:19 KJV
(19) And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 15:5 KJV
(5) And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

The tables of testimony are the 10 commandments. Why are the 10 commandments mentioned in the Book of Revelation? They are mentioned as being in heaven, the tabernacle on earth was a copy the original is in heaven. That means the sabbath of the Lord is in there in the book of Revelation. The sabbath of the Lord is written in heaven and seen by John in vision.

Revelation 14:12 KJV

(12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

So reading the context what are the commandments of God in this text? Because those worship and keep the commandments of God will not receive the mark of the beast.
Well in my opinion, this post encapsulates it all. It covers all variables.

Be it for yourself. I do what Paul said. You don't excuse yourself that you are under grace. "Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? GOD FORBID."- romans 6:15
Your faith is dead if you continue in sin. Sin is breaking God's law. You can't break the fourth commandment wilfully. Romans 3:31 i establish the Law and not make the law void because of faith. It seems like paul had to deal with this concept at his time. That being saved means you can sin easily. He says a big fat GOD FORBID to thinkers like that. Fact is breaking God's law is an orgination from the vatican. Pope used to say he's god. That was commandment 1 being broken. Idolatry in church. That's commandment 2 being broken. And ofcourse murder. That's commandment 6 being broken. And ofcourse adultery. All kinds. From homosexuality to orgies. That's commandment 7 being broken by vatican. To ofcourse lust and greed and covetousness. And ofcourse the changing of God's Sabbath to sunday. Reread my very first post, and read the quotes where they admit they changed Saturday to sunday not by command of Christ but by their own power. And i forgot the ninth commandment too. They are really skilled at this one when they make lies.
Isaiah 8:20- "to the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because they have no light in them."
Whenever you see someone speaking not according to the Law, he has no light in him. And he's a pastor whose drenched in sins, and "whosoever commiteth sin is of the devil."- 1 john 3:4
Do not pull Paul's writings to try and claim that "i am in bondage". Because i aM NOT IN BONDAGE. YOU are in bondage, because "whosoever commiteth sin is the servant of sin" in john 8. Jesus to makes you free. Not free from the Law, but free from the curse of the law. He comes to free from breaking the Law and not from your obligation to the Law. Jesus never broke that Law, and never does He teach men to break it. That law will stand and endure forever luke 16:17. When the Bible says you are not under the law it does not mean you are free from its obligation, but rather that you are free from its condemnation! Galatians 3:13

in case you missed it...this topic -started out- with someone throwing an accusation at other people...specifically someone began this thread with an accusation that people who worship on sunday are future recipients of the mark of the beast...
I proved it from the Holy Bible. Go thy way, Jesus forgive you. The Law will endure forever luke 16:17.

UMM But if one says they follow the Sabbath laws doesn't that mean one is suppose to WORK SIX days a week and not five?
Do you all get up on Sunday and go to work or do you all take that day off too?
I'll answer you that question. The Sabbath commandment's purpose is to tell you you gotta rest on Sabbath. You can rest any day you want, but you MUST on the sabbath. I'll try to use a bit of reasoning for that: when Jesus was in the wilderness forty days and forty night what work did He do?(a man who is fasting this long barely has strength to do anything) did Jesus break Sabbath commandment because He rested on all these days? Not at all. Did He keep the Sabbath? Ofcourse He did.

And how arrogant to sweep under the rug all the gross heretical error of cults that leads people astray simply because obeying the Bible and correcting false teachers offends you. Yes they teach false doctrine. And birds of a feather flock together.
My purpose is to obey the Bible. That's why I call out people like you that teach against obeying the Bible. Yes, birds of a feather fly together. You're an arrogant follower of such birds, self-appointed twisters of the scriptures who call those who obey Christ heretics and cult members. Oh yes, I must learn to ignore the scoffers.

This silly interpretation that the 4th commandment suggests we must work for 6 days out of seven or we're not following this commandment is preposterous. Clearly, this commandment is saying, "you may work for 6 days, but you must rest on the 7th." People worked continually in those days. Everything was made from scratch. Obviously, the Sabbath commandment was about taking a day of rest as opposed to working every day of the week.

Jesus did obey the Sabbath (shabbat) and all other 613 laws, because he was still under the old testament law. Paul went to Synagogue on Shabbat because he was there to witness to the Jews about Christ. Though Paul was not under the law, he voluntarily put himself under the law when he was with those who kept the law to win them for Christ.

19For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. 20To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; 21to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law. 22To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. 23I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. 1Cor. 9

Yeah, and I'm sure when no one was around, he worshiped idols, coveted what was his neighbors, committed adultery, etc., cause hey-- he was no longer under the law.
