watcher2013, ok so can you please educate me? Where is the scripture that states that the Sabbath only applies to the Jews?
With your logic, Can did not sin by killing Able because the ten commandments where not given yet and futhermore, the other nine commandments would then also only apply to the Jews. So I guess it is ok for the rest of us Gentiles to kill each other?
1. Sabbath and Jews
[Exo 24:12] KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. (Who's them? certainly Moses will not go back to egypt to teach the egyptians, neither he will travel all the way to asia to teach the asians)
[Exo 34:32] KJV And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
2. Cain kill Abel before the law.
There are commandments before the law at mount Sinai.
[Gen 26:5] KJV Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Though not written on stone.
God commands Adam not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
Moses Law require death for murder.
God did not allow Cain to be slayed. (different approach)
we have no idea what are all those commandments given to them, but certainly Sabbath were not practiced.
3. Gentiles no law, is it ok to kill?
[Rom 2:14] KJV For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Eventhough, gentiles have no law, gentiles don't just go out and kill anyone they like. (killing spree)
[Rom 2:12] KJV For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
During those days, gentiles have many gods.
What Gentiles do not have was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But now this God was made known into the gentiles by Paul and the disciples. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, not Esau, who does not dwell in things made by hands, who sent his Son Jesus.
