Trying to explain or defend the rapture to the world of the lost is, therefore, fruitless. There is just no way they can come to understand or believe this doctrine, unless and until they repent, ask for--and accept--God’s grace gift offer of salvation through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross at Calvary nearly two millennia ago. We can go through the vast body of scriptural text, laying out the Bible facts as we are confident God’s Word presents truth about the rapture. But, unless and until one is capable of spiritual discernment from the Holy Spirit, a person, no matter how intellectually brilliant, can never come to believe those facts. They might even come to understand the facts in a purely cerebral sense, but never truly comprehend them to the point of knowing that the rapture is a cataclysmic event in the future of one particular generation of earth’s inhabitants.
So, our efforts to explain the rapture will meet with quite limited results, seeing as how there is a great spiritual discernment disconnect, when explaining to those who don’t know Christ for salvation. This we accept, thus can move ahead with limited frustration in putting the truth about prophecy and the rapture before these as best we can.
Dealing with the Body of Christ--all born-again believers--is quite another thing, when it comes to our frustration meter. It becomes a bit more disconcerting when our efforts to put out truth about prophecy, and the rapture in particular, is met with the same arguments, no matter how thoroughly and how cogently we organize and present what God’s Word has to tell His children about these matters.

.........very well said! Jesus had this to say, in Matthew 11:25, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [and I acknowledge openly and joyfully to Your honor], that You have hidden these things from the wise and clever and learned, and revealed them to babies [to the childish, untaught, and unskilled]."

Denebanger,

You make some interesting observations but there is no Rapture. You won't find the Rapture as an event anywhere in the Bible. But I don't want you to get bogged down on this point right now.

So when does the rapture or catching away of the bride take place? At the sound of the last trumpet which is the 7th trumpet (1 Cor. 15:51-55) and this is at the midpoint of the 7 years!
Be blessed!
If you don't understand the correct order of events, it will lead you down the wrong path. First, the number of the Beast is 666. 6 is a human number, the day man was created. 666 refers to the 6th Seal, 6th Trumpet and 6th Bowl. All of these events are Satanic/Satan driven. They occur together or sequentially to each other. The Seals, Trumpets and Bowls do not go in the order Seal 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Trumpet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Bowl 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. If you think that you will never understand the correct order of events, see how they are tied to other scripture and certainly never see that the Rapture is an invention of man/Satan and clearly Not the teaching of God.

I know most Christians are so invested emotionally to the Rapture concept that for them to see God's divine plan for the end times would be impossible. I am not trying to offend anyone but that is the situation. If you believe in the Rapture, Revelation will remain a mystery, its that simple. So, the rest of what I am sharing will make no sense to the Pre-Trib believer and they will think I'm crazy and/or evil. But that's okay. I'll share anyway.

The 7th trumpet marks the return of the Lord and the end of the AC's rule. 7-7-7 signifies Completion and Perfection. These events are all divine, God driven. You have noises and thunderings in each of the 7th seal, trumpet and bowl. The thunderings are the voice of God and we see this throughout scripture, especially in the OT. The 7th trumpet is the Last Event of the Tribulation period. It is the Day of the Lord (which lasts 1,000 years). The Lord returns after 6-6-6 at 7-7-7.

The witnesses are on earth in Jerusalem while the Beast is there but the Beast can not harm them until just before Christ returns.

The Woman is Believing Israel. They are given a safe place from the Anti-Christ and the torment he will unleash on the world. The safe place given is in the desert, not in heaven. It is probably Petra in Jordan. The image of the dragon sending out a flood after the woman but the earth swallowing it up, then the dragon waging war on the rest of her offspring is spiritual. It is war of words, war of lies and false teachings of the Beast/AC being the true Messiah, which of course is false. The woman knows this and does not fall for the trick.

The Bride of the Lamb is ALL BELIEVERS that end up in the final new heaven at the end of the millennium. The Millennium and Day of the Lord cover the same time frame. When the Lord returns at the end of the Tribulation, He comes for the Battle of Armageddon, Mat 24:28 and Rev 19 set the time and place perfectly. When the Lord returns, He gathers His Elect, they receive glorified bodies and they remain with Him wherever He goes. God brings the saints in heaven with Him.

If you did not believe in Jesus and were not saved prior to the Lord's return you enter the millennium in your earthly bodies. Many will believe in Jesus once they see Him and everyone will bow down and worship Him. However, not all knees remained bowed. The Lord will separate the Goat Nations from the Sheep Nations. The Sheep Nations are the ones who were kind to Israel and the Goat Nations where unkind to Israel, Mat 25. The Lord will rule all nations with a rod of iron for 1,000 years. Nations that do not worship the Lord receive no rain, Zech 14. At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan is loosed for a short period. Then of course the old heavens and earth pass away and the new Jerusalem is brought down to the new earth for all saved to dwell forever.

If you were to explain it using scripture i'd listen. Do the people who believe in the rapture believe that they are the children of the kingdom? Do they believe they will partake of the kingdom {the 1000yr period of rest}?

Matt 11 could be speaking of anyone. It certainly aint speakin about the rapture.

Jesus had this to say

JOHN 17 [14] I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. [15] I PRAY NOT THAT THOU SHOULDEST TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WORLD, BUT THAT THOU SHOULDEST KEEP THEM FROM THE EVIL. [16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

there was a time in the world when the old testament prophecy was being fulfilled in front of the very people that prayed for the messiah to come. they had no understanding of it. they didn't believe it. they helped bring about its fulfillment. when the teachings in revelations come true, will the masses that have prayed about it do any better than those in the past?

our jobs as Christians is not getting ready so we can leave people in need. we don't pack up and run when things start to get heavy around us. will we leave billions to suffer so that we may have our own personal safety assured? people who will need us more than ever to teach and preach and witness to ? people we love! if you have no love and compassion for those who would be left behind how would you sit at the feet of Christ and expect mercy?

salvation isn't about leaving other people behind to face damnation. have you heard about Jesus? will you serve the blood and be crucified with him? which criminal next to Jesus will you be ? from what i remember, things didn't go so well for the one saying get us out of here to avoid this punishment. don't expect it to go any better for you when you cry out the same thing.

Crest of Pope Francis

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.

The rapture is a wonderful hope for all of God's children, a promise to protect us and keep us from the harm of the terrible day of the Lord. The word rapture is indeed not found in the bible however the event is spoken of in both the new and old testament, often phrased as being taken or put under protection from his wrath and such. But this is indeed seem to be hidden from many people, because they don't want to find it or believe it. You cannot find a secret treasure in the mountains if you are not looking for it, but even then you may look for it but if you cannot believe it is there you will not see it.

If people do not wish to believe in the rapture or the fact we are to be saved from the tribulation then there is not much we can do if their eyes are covered and ears plugged. However God loves all his children whether they believe in the rapture or not, what qualifies to be taken is not merely to believe in it but rather the condition of the heart

When the seal is broken on the scroll that turns the sun black and the moon red as blood...is my belief. :) When that happens, bam! the church is raptured. As for the date and time, no one knows that, so if anyone tells you a date, it's not then. :)

The only thing that can be known about the timing of the rapture is that it takes place before the Time of Jacob's trouble. Other than that, we are not going to know the exact day and hour of it. But again, we can know for sure that it will take place before the time of Jacob's trouble begins.

there will be a rapture it's just the eyes of the unbelievers are blind so they cannot see it, or see what the scripture is saying
only the true born again christians can understand what is happening, i'm not gonna explain it fully because it wouldn't make sense but i will do a little bit

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[h=3]1 Thessalonians 4:16-17[/h]now the dead in christ shall rise first, what this is saying here is the Christians who were born again with the holy spirit but passed away on this earth in the flesh will rise first, then we which are alive is talking about the born again believers that hasn't passed away yet on this though will be caught up together with them in the clouds( the dead in christ that has risen)to me the lord, the rapture isn't going to come yet until the last predestinated seed has been saved when this last person is saved, the fullness of the gentiles comes in then it will come, then God will move back to the jews his people to open there is soon he is done with us, the end time prophets will come and reveal to them what the truth is and 144 000 of them will be saved, no harm will come to the church other than the time we living in now, the jews will be in the 7 year trib, as we saw back in the days of noah before judgement came on the earth, God saved his people and had them in safe hands, in the story of sodom and gomorrah before judgement came to that city God made sure his people was out safely before judgement came. so shall it be in the end but the entire church will be going home this time in the rapture.

The word of God says we aren't appointed to wrath. To put the church through
that is to say God lied. You may need to study up on how the 12 tribes moved
in the wilderness. It had to do with blowing a horn.
The example i think you may be missing is that of Moses leading them out of Egypt "after the plagues", into the wilderness and to the promised land. We are not appointed to his wrath just as the Israelites were passed over. But take note of that story, his people did suffer at the hand of the Egyptian{not God} during the plagues. They were persecuted for the plagues that were happening to the Egyptians.

So as God's wrath was falling upon the Egyptians they in turn took it out on God's people. We can definitely expect that same persecution during end times.

For those who believe in the Rapture (which of course is not taught as a Biblical doctrine) keep this in mind.

The world is almost exactly 1/3 Christian. Satan kills how many with his 200 million demon army? 1/3 of the world. How does he do it? His demons appear as impostors posing as Angels from Heaven to take you all to meet the Lord in the air. What Christian who believes in a Rapture and thinks it happens first would refuse to go with an angel of the Lord to the Rapture?

Now we know why there are multitudes in heaven from every nation, language and tongue who "Came Out" of the Great Tribulation. They weren't Raptured out, they were killed out!!! Wake up people.

15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.

16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

The only Seal, Trumpet or Bowl where the "HOUR" which it shall happen is predetermined is the 6th Trumpet, the slaughter of 2 billion Christians. This event is called "the hour of trial" to the Church of Philadelphia. So, some Christians will not be tempted by the fake Rapture when the 200 million demon army goes out. Each demon needs to visit only 10 Christians. This can happen in one night, just like the Angel of Death during the Egyptian Passover. Knowing the past is key to the future. By morning 2 Billion Christians will die, murdered by the Beast and his army.

The church is no longer mention in Revelation after Chapter 3 because they are dead.

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb...

13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"

14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The church will be "tested" not face the Wrath of God. The Lord will "Test" his church to see who has been "watching" and who has been reading his Word and following His Word faithfully and not falling for the lies of Satan. Jesus stressed repeatedly and warned about this very event.

23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it.

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it.

Paul warns explicitly the same thing:

3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Why all the warnings to a church that supposedly would be long gone before the Tribulation all safe and nestled away in heaven by Rapture? Why demand that we watch if we won't be here? Why all the warnings about false Christs and Not to go out if we aren't here? So the lesson here is DO NOT GO WITH ANYONE, "ANGEL" or OTHERWISE WHO CLAIMS TO BE SENT FROM THE LORD TO TAKE YOU TO HIM (THE RAPTURE) IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE ANTI-CHRIST REVEALED.

This is nothing but the truth brother.. the carnal mind cannot understand the things of God that is why the holy spirit is required to read the bible, so much people claim to be born again but can't see it infront of them, that means something must be wrong, because God himself saved me and reveal his word to me and i see it, i think that's the problem though people straying away from the word and doing man made creeds and believe they are born again, i've went to an adventist church recently and i was so ashamed when i saw what i saw, this women went to the altar to give your life to christ and you know what happen? all she did was acknowledge she was a sinner, it went like this, the pastor ask the woman, do you believe that you are a sinner? she said yes, then he ask her again are you ready to surrender you life to christ? and the woman said yes and you know what happen next? the pastor said WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF CHRIST then everyone started clapping and shouting yay, that almost bring tears to my eyes.. with the unbelievers in the world that wanna change but seeking out the wrong things with these man made doctrines.. my brothers and sisters i'm telling you now if you haven't experience a personal experience of being born again your still in the flesh, seek out to God for the anwsers then you will know what the bible is saying, i ask so many people on this forum for their testimony of being born again and you know what all of them tell me? when jesus died on the cross for me... jesus died for us yes but when we truly accept it in our hearts SOMETHING MUST TAKE PLACE TO PROVE THAT YOUR FAITH WASN'T DEAD WORKS, when i got saved i didn't even know anything about all of this but God draw me near to him, and i believe when this happens we go into a state of desperation, i got a near death experience and got scared didn't know where i was going so i was ready for anwsers and that build up my faith and from that i went to church and truly accept christ and felt his supernatural present move into me and my soul started weeping literally saying thank you jesus continuously and i didn't know why i was saying it since then i was never the same and can actually see what the bible is saying and understand it, so.. if your not truly born again how will you know if there will be a rapture or not? all i have to say is.. who has ears to hear let them hear don't let pride get in the way of your salvation it's life and death eternally nothing to joke around seek for anwsers if you know something isn't right

No it can NOT happen at any time. First, there is no rapture of the church before the tribulation. There is one return of Christ and that is AFTER the Anti-Christ is revealed. Man I feel like a broken record. Does anyone actually read the scriptures anymore or are they just content to accept the false teachings of man?
Why, yes I do. Jesus can indeed come today! The time is now right for His return.

the church isn't going to be in the tribulation, the jews will after God is done with the gentiles and take them away in the rapture he will turn to the jews and all the gentiles who missed it will be lost 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [h=3]Romans 11:25[/h]now the fullness of the gentiles means when the last predestinated seed that is predestined to be saved is saved then God will deal with his people again
